Not as well known as peranakan houses at koon seng. But these buildings are such a beauty to look at. Really lovely tiles and architecture that you can't find elsewhere.

Besides the Koon Seng Road Colourful Houses and the Peranakan Houses along the same road, do also check out the Conserved Terrace Houses near East Coast Road. They are just as pretty. The houses were "raised" as a form of protection against the encroaching seawater from the adjacent shoreline during pre-reclamation days. If you intend to go on a heritage trail involving the Conserved Terrace Houses, for your meal, I would recommend the eating places at nearby i12 Katong (a shopping mall), or ASTONS Prime @ Joo Chiat Road. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area. The beautiful small houses will bring a smile to your face. Just remember that this is a residential area, it’s a quiet spot so please be respectful.

Beautiful terrace houses with pretty decoration. Take care when taking photos as these are people’s houses! There’s a building by the entrance of the road with a nice, huge turtle drawing.

Don’t know that Singapore still have this kind of house preserved so well at here. The house no all start with number 150 and different with alphabet and it start with B. Such like the 1st pink house is no. 150-B, 2nd house is no. 150-C.... and so on.
