The char kway teow here is pretty good and has lots of fresh cockles. It has wok hei and is tasty, but can be salty. The roast meats are also good but a tad expensive. You can order the siu yoke, with crispy skin, and char siu for $6 for a small portion. The roast pork is good but they chop it into too small sizes.

Came here for breakfast and first time eating this Carrot Cake. Simple comfort food at $3.50 and $4.50 respectively. Find not much difference in portion between the 2, therefore the $3.50 one suffice! Taste wise this is not the best as compared with others, however for one to fill the stomach early morning this is good enough! This kopitiam got a stall that serves good Western Food!

When I think of mee poh dry, it must be really ‘dry and fragrance’ with lard oil coated on the noodle and not those wet one. At this ‘Katong (Jago) Teochew Mee Poh Kway Teow Mee’ stall, I asked for a $5 with extra ingredients ($1 or $2 more) but ended up serving me the small one ($5) only. Well, it was still not very dry but anyway the umami soup was tasty. The chilli sauce mixture was a tad salty today but acceptable. 👍👍

Food at katong Jago Seafood is delicious. Price is reasonable too. Try their seafood hotpot. The soup base is awesome.

Ordered the $4.50 plate, asked for less Chili . This beats Zion road hawker Center char kway teow anytime . Chef uses lard and dish is topped with Chinese sausage and bean sprouts. Has the goodness of wok hei In every mouthful! Worth the calorie!
