Great halal experience! Food was delicious and the toast was perfectly done. The drinks were a little bit too "gao" for us, but still tasted nice. I have to commend one of their service staff (didn't catch his name, but he was wearing the checker yellow shirt, we came on 6 Sep 2025 in the morning) He was quick to serve our table, even though the place was pretty busy. He was patient with our queries on the food and even assisted us with our order as the online ordering did not allow us for a remark, e.g., no pineapples. (Maybe something to add on in the online order) He was very proactive in clearing the tables and was constantly on the go, he definitely deserves some commendation.

Had a lovely meal at Old Town Restaurant—a true hidden gem! The food was rich in flavor and brought so much comfort with every bite. From the fragrant nasi lemak to the perfectly brewed white coffee, every dish felt like a nostalgic trip back to authentic Malaysian flavors. The ambiance was cozy and welcoming, with just the right mix of tradition and charm. Service was prompt and friendly, making the entire dining experience smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend this spot if you're craving hearty, flavorful dishes and a laid-back, satisfying meal. Will definitely be coming back for more!

We visited during Chinese new year. Atmosphere is good, with a view to the seaside. Staff is generally friendly. The food varies from ok to good in terms of taste. The only real complaint I have is the eggs that were supposed to be runny came out well done for the most part.

I am still looking for a decent Asam Laksa in Singapore. And this, unfortunately fall short. Not that i had high expectation, this is after all, McDonald’s of Malaysian food. The chicken curry was better, however, the meat is a little tough. We were promptly served and the restaurant was clean and comfortable.
