Came in with an infant and toddler, with a prior reservation from earlier in the week. Had no issues getting seated when we had arrived at our appointment time. However, one note was that each reservation seem to be set for 2-hours, since we were asked to wrap up at around that time point. It was fairly crowded, with 85% of the restaurant patrons being young families with very young kids (preschool-kindergarten). A rather lively atmosphere. The servers were constantly busy so it was rather difficult grabbing their attention for anything. Food started being served after around 20+ mins of being ordered. The drinks were a tad after, at around 15 mins? Food wasn’t too bad, with decent portion and taste. Tried the Brussels sprouts based on the recommendation of other reviewers - they were pretty decent - done just right with a delightful level of crisp from being roasted. However, the portion cream that the Brussels sprouts were plated on in the bowl was too much and rich tasting, ruining the overall taste of the dish. I have to complement the strawberry ice cream - we had it in a waffle and I’m not sure if it’s made in-house, but it wasn’t too rich and tasted really good! Highly recommend it! Overall, we would probably return as a family, but would be conscious of our time here (definitely not too much of a hangout space) - can be quite hard chi chatting and catching up given the loud atmosphere.

Such a bright, spacious café near East Coast Park! Really enjoyed the Steak & Mash—the picanha was tender, and the caramelised onion mash with mushroom gravy was so good. The Mushroom Medley Risotto was creamy with a lovely truffle aroma. My favourite drink was the Watermelon Yuzu, refreshing and not too sweet. There’s also a kids’ play area, a kids’ menu and pet-friendly outdoor seating. A nice spot for dinner followed by a walk by the sea.

A hidden gem by East Coast Park! 🌿 East Coast Commune is the perfect spot to unwind after a seaside walk. The atmosphere is warm, relaxing, and beautifully designed, making it feel like a cozy third space away from the city. The medium steak was perfectly cooked—tender, juicy, and paired with fresh vegetables. The salad was vibrant and refreshing, with pomegranate and cheese adding great flavor. I also loved the Ube Coconut Water, a unique and refreshing drink, and the berry smoothie was packed with real fruit and not overly sweet. Great food, lovely vibes, and surprisingly affordable. Highly recommend for a relaxing meal, coffee date, or a peaceful evening by the sea.

Really enjoyed our visit to East Coast Commune! The place has a relaxed and cozy atmosphere, and it’s a great spot for a meal with friends or family. They also have a kids’ play area, which is a big plus for families with young children. We had the Steak N Mash, Cereal Prawn, Butternut Chopped Salad and Strawberry Shortcake. Everything was pretty good, especially the steak and strawberry shortcake. We also tried the Ube Coconut Cloud and Spring Bloom, which were both light and refreshing. There’s also a small shopping area inside, so it’s nice to have a look around after the meal. Overall, a lovely place at East Coast with good food, a relaxing atmosphere and friendly service. Would definitely come back again!

Shared 2 mains and 2 sides (because my friend and i couldn’t decide). The brussels sprouts side is a must have and would come back just for it! Cauliflower sides is standard, still flavorful but compared to the brussels sprouts, it is okay. We got a salmon bowl w quinoa and chicken w couscous as our mains. Both of us love the chicken and couscous more but the salmon was also well seasoned w crispy skin. ice long black is standard. i also love the open kitchen concept and the choices of desserts (that we have yet to try). overall, good space and also very friendly staffs!
