The food standard is consistent. The duck serving was appropriate and nicely sliced. The rice smelled fragrant. The cashier topped my soup with parsley and my rice with fried shallots when requested and he still asked in a nice manner if I needed more. He ate late, at 2.30pm, just like me. I read a lot of negative reviews but am fortunate that I still came.

The only eatery selling duck in Kallang Wave Mall. Heritage brand since 1964. Braised Duck Rice w half egg + beancurd + peanuts ($6.50) Braised Duck Noodle ($6.50) - no egg/ beancurd Yew Kee Set w 2x half eggs + beancurd +peanuts ($7.50 1 pax; $15, 2 pax). Choice of carbo. Chicken Charsiew rice/noodles ($5.50) Roast Meat + Chicken Charsiew rice ($7) SMALL portion for the price. Soup SALTY. - Unhygienic male cook dips finger into soup bowl. - Rude uncle and aunty staff.

Should have read the review before trying this particular outlet out. Not to pile on to the bad reviews here but the main dude taking orders is really rude and got the order wrong by not listening to our request. Followed by the stingy portion size of both their kway chap and duck meat set.... Yukee used to be one of my favorite and this outlet is totally not it.

.: : ::: - Yew Kee Duck Rice (友记家传鸭饭) delivers flavourful braised duck with well-seasoned tau pok, braised eggs, and peanuts. However, the portion for set of 2 feels underwhelming for its price — would expect more value and consistency from a heritage brand with over 30 years of history.

Worst kway chap I ever had. Duck meat is not tasty at all, abit of muddy taste; the salted vege smells foul; pork skin is not the typical texture; totally wasted my calories.
