Had an absolutely outstanding dining experience at Thai Village Restaurant, and it reminded me why this place has such a strong reputation over the years. From the moment we sat down, everything felt well-organised, comfortable, and welcoming — perfect for both family meals and special occasions. The highlight of the meal was, without a doubt, their shark fin soup. This is easily one of the best I’ve ever had. The broth is incredibly rich, thick, and flavourful, with a deep umami taste that shows it has been patiently slow-cooked. The texture is silky and luxurious, and every spoonful feels indulgent yet balanced — not overly salty or heavy. You can really tell the quality and consistency they maintain in this signature dish. Beyond the soup, the rest of the dishes were equally impressive. The claypot seafood was fresh and packed with ingredients, absorbing all the flavours of the savoury sauce beautifully. The omelette was fluffy with a slightly crispy exterior, giving it great texture, while the broccoli dish was simple yet perfectly executed — vibrant, crunchy, and enhanced with just the right amount of seasoning. Service was attentive, efficient, and professional throughout the meal. Staff were quick to respond and ensured everything flowed smoothly without feeling rushed. Overall, this was a top-tier dining experience. If you’re looking for premium Chinese cuisine with consistently high standards, Thai Village Restaurant is definitely a place to visit. Highly recommended, and I will definitely be back again.

Been visiting this restaurant and their Goodwood branch on many many occasions. A great favourite of mine for all special days celebrations and when craving for real solid sharks-fin soup. Have not been here since they moved to this new location since Oct 2025. Service was not as attentive with the newer younger staff but the older staff were very efficient in changing the plates and bowls after our fish course. The not so hot claypot sharksfin came in smaller pieces instead of one piece, crabmeat was scarce and came with smaller mushroom @same price of $88++. The 700g soon hock was fresh and delicious $91++. The efu seafood noodles $22++ was a disappointment as it was just mushroom, enoki and pieces of plastic prawns cut into smaller bits and tasted more vegetarian than seafood dish. Corkage $30. Hope my next visit will be better experience ψ(`∇´)ψ

It has been a while since I have had the pleasure of eating at Thai Village. I didn't even know it moved to Kallang Leisure Mall. My family ordered sharks fin, kai lan, claypot beancurd, butter prawns, a fish and crab beehoon. Every dish was cooked to perfection. Nothing was wasted. A very enjoyable experience 😊

The newly renovated venue is simply awesome. The place is much bigger now and well organized. Services is exceptionally great and fast. The staff including the managers are all very friendly and polite. Food is delicious and the sharkfins and the cold dish are highly recommendable for ordering. A very pleasant experience just like the old venue, but now with updated setup and venue. Plenty of parking space at Kallang Leisure Park.

Dropped by the new outlet at Kallang Leisure Mall (right opposite the old spot) and loved how cozy and welcoming it feels. The shark’s fin remains the highlight, and the service and food have always been consistently excellent. Definitely prefer this newly renovated space and will be back for sure.
