Great atmosphere, songs, vibes and service! It really feels as if you stepped into an american diner with gentle acoustic of familar songs and the fusion twist in some of the foods. The food remains consistent. It served fast, neat, beautifully plated and with just enough kick. For someone who wants to try the american way of how dishes are made, this place has the dishes served in the same style at taste. Overall a very nice place to check out, especially if you have a pet!
View on GoogleAn interesting restaurant that I have passed many times during my jogs, so I finally decided to visit with my family. We arrived at about 6:00 PM and were seated indoors. Unfortunately, there was an issue with the ordering process, and our order was never entered into the system. After waiting nearly 50 minutes, and noticing that other tables who arrived later had already been served while even our jug of iced tea had not arrived, I checked again with another waitress. That was when it was confirmed that our order had been missed entirely. That said, the service recovery was handled well. The second waitress responded promptly, prioritised our order, and waived the service charge, which we appreciated. Once the food arrived, it came quickly and was well worth the wait. The dishes were delicious, portions were generous, and my family enjoyed the meal very much. In the end, the delay came with an unexpected upside, as we managed to catch the Marina Bay fireworks. Overall, despite the service hiccup, the quality of the food and the recovery effort left a positive impression. I would return again. Food Quality: A Portion Size: A Service: B- Return-to-Eat: 4/4
View on GoogleVery awesome nautical-themed place aptly by the Singapore River with lots of cool deco elevating the vibe to another level. Food was almost perfect, with their Cocaine Wings tasting like Har Cheong Gai but with its own twist, and the Onion Blossom hitting all the right spots with just the right seasoning as well, making it an even better choice than fries or any other sides. Mixed platter was well cooked, fish was fresh and flakey, nachos were still crispy with a tinge of salt which was great but it was only the Mac & Cheese that would have used the oven a little longer to get that char on the surface, maybe just a couple of minutes more? But its no death sentence, overall the food was still amazing. Hearty meal all-around. Love the extensive drinks menu and love it even more that they have Guinness Draught here. But at $17/pint it was a little too pricey even for someone like me who would run into a burning building to finish an unfinished pint to not let it go to waste. Other than the price of the drinks, everything else was very enjoyable. Cheers, Kontiki, hope to be able to come back and see some really nicely priced drinks. When you do, let me know I'm coming back to finish a keg! Bottom's up!
View on GoogleLovely place to relax with a view of the Singapore Flyer. The food was fair, but the atmosphere was likely the best part. There's barely any crowd on weekday afternoons, making it ideal for watching the world go by. It’s also dog-friendly, offering items like puppucino and even full meals for dogs.
View on GoogleThis place is fantastic! The vibe is really nice, and it’s one of the few truly pet-friendly spots where you can truly enjoy the great food, the pleasant atmosphere, and the air-conditioned environment with your pet! The car park is conveniently located right next to the place, so it’s highly recommended.
