Restaurant is spacious and can host big tables and families. Food is good and classic, not the best but classic enough. Famous for their crab beehoon but we found the beehoon abit too hard that day, have had better ones so could be a hit/miss depending on the day itself.

A visiting friend from France thinking of eating crab. 16 pax, need a quiet place and very last minute Sunday 6:30pm booking. Most popular crab joints were full and I was forced to google and found Joyden by chance and pray hard all goes well. Ordered 2 packages with a table for 10 pax and another for 6 pax. Ambience was fantastic. Some crowd but we have a corner for our own as if its our party. It's spacious and not noisy. The service staffs were attentive and help manage our food where we need transfer food around the 2 tables. The platter was nice and flavourful. The prawns and fish was superb. Super fresh. The duck bun was good but the duck meat alone a bit dry. Nicer if got special sauces that accompanied it. We changed crab dish to creamy golden crab. Very nice gravy but some crab meat stick to the shell which I deem as slight overcooked to not fresh enough. Other than that, the meal was wonderful and everyone went home fully satisfied. I'm relieved to have found Joyden Seafood.

Located at L2 of the rather quiet Kallang Leisure Park, I was initially unsure of this Chinese restaurant as I've walked past a few times and hardly see it crowded - I mean you will expect crowd if the restaurant is very good right? Decided to try it one day and I'm glad I did. Firstly, service is good and they are very friendly and attentive especially the elderly workers. Secondly (and most importantly), they serve very good quality food! My family and I were delighted with their Signature Braised 'Tai-O' Fish and Seafood Vermicelli - the wok hey is really solid and with the belacan chilli, we were craving for more! We were also very happy with their yam ring which we can taste it's packed with fragrant yam - crispy on the outside, yammy inside! We also ordered other dim sum items and quality is good. Pricing is reasonable as well. Will visit them again soon.

Came here for their Lobster Porridge as it was highly recommended by one of our friend and also wanted to patronize this restaurant after i had a rather good lunch experience at Joyden Canton Kitchen in Hillview. Well, their Lobster Porridge was overall ok, Lobster meat was tender, firm with slight seafood food sweetness but broth for the porridge was abit too bland… lacks sweetness (Lobster broth should have) and could do with a little bit more salt. The rest of the dishes that we ordered (Trio Of Eggs And Wolfberry With Seasonal Vegetable In Superior Broth, Beancurd and Black Pepper Beef Tenderloin) were Average but were more well balance than the Porridge. I personally liked their Yam Ring with Sweet and Sour Pork as the Yam Ring was Crispy on the outside and inside packed with smooth creamy Yam… Sweet And Sour Pork had also crispy outer crust and tender inside. Their Signature Braised “Tai-O” Fish And Seafood Vermicelli was the next good dish. Its well cooked and flavourful. Overall, Service staffs were friendly, patient and attentive, but would prefer them not to have more than 2 staffs clearing the table, as its rather overwhelming and uncomfortable, when we just finished our last bite, sipping hot tea and wanted to chit chat for just awhile.

The carrot cake is quite good—it's crunchy and delicious—and I really liked the tim sum. Siew mai, harkaw, and char siew poa were also excellent. Since the bee hoon sticks together and is very oily, fried bee hoon is a miss. Even though we think the food is excellent, service still has to be improved. The wait crew is inundated and unfocused. Well-suited for family get-togethers, this location is roomy and fairly priced.
