Tucked away in a cozy corner of level 2 of Kallang Wave Mall is this nice Japanese restaurant. The food is quite value for money, staff are excellent, and has this homely vibes to it. Food is quite varied with many creative maki for choice. Must try place if you're near by.
View on GoogleService is quick and the waiters here are friendly, coming over to check if you have any problems or questions about the meal. We ordered the Chashu Ishinabe which was delicious! With such prices and good taste you're definitely going to get your money's worth here.
View on GoogleIt surprises me to see so many average to below-average reviews here. I came here for lunch for the first time in my life, and my experience has been no less than positive. The curry udon, unagi rice, and char siew rice, were all of certain standards. I didn't personally try the Dons but my friends did, and I trust their taste buds. My curry udon was really good! The sides were okay, though you can probably skip the fried salmon fingers. They were extremely average. The sashimi were alright. Not the freshest but definitely not the worst I've tasted in Singapore. Also, the sushi disintegrates very easily, thus spoiling the moment of savouring it bit by bit. The green teas are also non-refillable, which was a huge downside. The menu is so huge I couldn't decide what to order
View on GoogleMass market Japanese food. The menu has been revamped yet again and now is even more basic fare with zero sushi options. With the new menu, the restaurant was unsurprisingly empty when we arrived at 12 noon. Food tasted fine but the simple menu was a disappointment. Great service from the one lady attending to us (another staff showed up a bit later). Wagyu beef don was tender and good value at about $10 for the lunch set. Crispy chicken wings while yummy were a little spicy (not stated on the menu) so unfortunately my toddler suffered a bit while eating it (I was fine).
View on GoogleAfter a swim at the water playground perfect place to eat with family. Usually not crowded and food is not the best but acceptable, think Ajisen level. If you have a hard time finding the place just look for Anytime fitness (2nd floor) and follow the path between that leads to toilet.
