We came here for dinner before catching a movie. We were surprised with the very good value offering! Happy with the quality of the food, the portion sizes and the prices. We clearly had expected smaller dishes and over ordered (and over ate) significantly. In the end, happy tummies, and no need for popcorn during the movie 😂

Have been to this restaurant quite a few time. The service is very good. We typically good after work during the week. We usually get the sets to get a sample of the menu. Everything is hot and delicious.

Service staff who brought us to our table didn't greet us, no smiles. That's fine, maybe he had a bad day during opening hours. There were only 3 occupied tables including us so not busy. Spotted a strand of hair underneath my wafu pizza. Sent it back. No apologies. Came back with another pizza. Food was just ok. For this price, was expecting exceptionally good food and service. I didn't get either. Loved it when it had a branch at woodlands.

Watami has been around in Singapore for more than a decade. It started out as a super value-for-money restaurant (not cheap, but superb value for what you pay). Over the years, it seems to have change this value proposition and when I had lunch the other day, it is a run-of-the-mill Japanese restaurant, which charges above average prices for average fare. The service is the standard expected of a restaurant and food came rather quickly (but some hot food came warm, not hot). Really hope to see it return to its former value proposition of providing good value (even at a higher price).

Ordered a variety of dishes here. The restaurant is huge and there isn’t an issue with waiting time and was ushered in straight away during peak hours. Service is swift. It is general expected standard of a Japanese chain of such. It is consistent throughout the years at any of their outlet I have visited. The usual of sashimi salad, sushi roll and pork bowl never fails.
