This wonton noodle spot is a true hidden gem in the area, tucked away on the first floor of a building that’s easy to miss if you’re just passing by from the outside. It doesn’t have street visibility, so you really have to know it’s there—or be lucky enough to stumble upon it. Despite its low-key location, the food delivers a wonderfully nostalgic, old-school experience. The wonton noodles are done in a classic style, with well-seasoned wontons. The char siu complements the dish nicely, adding a savoury-sweet depth. One standout element is the chili sauce—it packs a serious punch. It’s properly spicy, not just mildly hot, and adds a bold kick that elevates the entire bowl. When mixed with the noodles, wontons, and char siu, it brings everything together beautifully.
View on Googlebest wanton mee ever! noodles are bouncy and slightly thicker than usual. we love the signature wanton mee. ngoh hiang and fried wanton are freshly fried when you order so its so crispy and hot. photo is evidence of how much this meal slapped
View on GoogleOrdered both the signature wanton fu dry noodles and the soup version. Both tasted good. Thin mee kia (egg noodles) prepared to be firm and bouncy (al dente), no alkaline taste - plus point. Char siew slices were tender. Fried wanton were tasty but were overly fried. We love that you can help yourself to the lard and condiments.
View on GoogleFor the second time around, and now I brought my wife with me from the Philippines to tryout Singapore's one of the best wanton restaurant ,guess what😁they gave us more than we expected! the dishes are savory , the crunchy wanton melts inside the tongue , noodles are very solid and easy to chew yet delicious , and the spicy sauce is just a top-notch level sauce ❤️ definitely Wanton Fu will always be on the top of my list for my every Singapore trips 😊
View on GoogleTried the wanton mee here and the noodles were quite good — springy with a nice bite. They also serve fried wantons, which were crispy and tasty. A nice bonus: free-flow fried pork lard for that extra indulgence. The shop was quiet when I visited on a Sunday, so it was a comfortable spot to enjoy my meal. Located in ARC, which seems like a relatively new building, it’s a convenient option if you’re in the area.
