Happened to find this store on XHS, and planned my trip down. Super delicious snail soup rice noodle and stinky tofu was served. The stinky tofu was super crispy outside and you got to eat it when it’s hot together with the chili powder and sauce! The snail soup rice noodle was really great as compared to the rest I’ve tried in SG, you can even see snail meat inside which is surprising. Owner was super friendly too, however they mainly do takeaways and only have 2 small tables by the roadside. If you don’t mind, it’s a great spot for some stinky tofu cravings and 螺狮粉. Will be back to try the 臭豆腐煲 ><

First visit on 09/03/2023 The place is not very hard to find, it's tucked at a corner. Ordered 3 items from the shop. The shop owner were super duper friendly to us, despite being skeptical on the reviews though. Fried smelly tofu(small/5 pieces) - fried to perfection, the smell were pretty appropriate. My friend could easily accept because it's not super pungent like the hongkong type. River snail noodles(螺蛳粉小辣) - either you will love it or hate it. It is pungent because of the fermentation of the bamboo shoots, noodles will smooth and slurpy. Best to have it when it's hot, very filling too. Fries pork balls with chili & cumin powder (3 skewers $6.50, 1 skewer $2.50) - seasoned powder were not very overpowering, pork balls was good. Sour plum juice ($3.00) - very refreshing and delicious, it's not from the concentrated cordial. Legitimately good. 2 pax spent about $20++, the shop owner even gave water too because she gave us ice and had left over. Then she explained to us the natural fermentation of the smelly tofu. Definitely will go back again.

It's hard to come by smelly tofu in SG.. Literally travelled here just to taste the one of a few here. Honest feedback is I hardly get the aroma or taste of the "smelly". However, if you are just a beancurd lover, the beancurd is still nice. For the mala soup tofu version, the soup is very "ma".. your lips will feel like given anesthesia 😁.. sioks though.. btw, their homemade drink is refreshing and tasted well.

Really enjoyed the Snail Noodles here. Felt that it tasted different from the other stores in SG (doesn’t taste like it’s from the packet). Generous ingredients especially when I asked for no vegetables and they gave me more of other ingredients (the boss told his staff to replace the vegetables with other ingredients when he heard my order). Think it’s the best one I have eaten so far in SG. Limited seats but I think they are more popular via food delivery. Tried the stinky tofu because it looks appealing. The tofu was really crispy on the outside and super silken soft on the inside. The after taste odour isn’t very strong, so it’s good for first-timers, especially with the powder dips that came with it. However, after trying out different variations, I have concluded that stinky tofu is not for me. I love the tofu though, I wished it wasn’t stinky.

Passed by this place a few weeks back. They are known for their fried smelly beancurd. if i am not wrong, previously they also had a stall over at Bugis street but have closed down since. This place is walking distance away from the swee choo dim sum place. The place has limited tables and seats. Reached the place around 3plus pm and there were no customers. The smelly beancurd comes in 2 sizes, SGD$6.50 or SGD$11.50. The small portion comes with 6 smelly tofu and a side of pickles cabbage. Tofu was very crispy and wasn't as pungent as I thought. I personally think its a good place to start for those would want to try. The pickle goes really well as it help to cut though the greasiness. The chili is tangy and it goes really well with the tofu. The only thing that i didnt like was its was quite oily and will gelat towards the end. Apart from the smelly tofu, they also sell other china snacks.
