All staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. Food and coffee were OK. The croissant was surprisingly good while we expected the rosti to be better. Prices were reasonable and nett, and they accepted CDC vouchers. It was quite breezy at the outdoor seatings.

Visited Oberstrasse on 25 April for lunch. There are plenty of carparks around the residential area, which makes it quite convenient to visit. We went without a reservation and arrived around 12pm—there was a small crowd but no wait time. We ordered the prawn bacon aglio olio and a rosti. The aglio olio was well balanced and not overly garlicky, which my partner appreciated, and the prawns and bacon added a nice savoury touch. The rosti was well done—crispy on the outside while remaining soft inside. For drinks, we had a hojicha latte and a mocha. The hojicha had a nice roasted, nutty flavour that was smooth and comforting, while the mocha was rich with a good balance of chocolate and coffee without being too sweet. The staff were very friendly, which made the overall experience even more pleasant. Overall, a nice and fuss-free spot for a casual meal.

Nice smoked salmon croissant and rosti with avocado and poached eggs. The coffee are also good. Accessible from Lavender MRT and free road side parallel parking on Sundays.

Coffee's pretty good and price is considered affordable relative to the food menu. The prawn bowl tasted very healthy, I would have preferred some sauce by the side go along. Seating is too close apart and not much privacy to have conversations. Service was attentive and friendly.

I have not been having brunch or lunch at such joint for a while. It reminded me of the good time I have in LA, Pasadena, St Marino some 15 years ago where you can have fabulous breakfast for about USD25 including tips. This place doesn’t disappoint me but would think the food can be further improved to give your unique and signature culinary experience. I really like sitting outdoor since the weather isn’t that warm and it’s windy.
