The bakes here are amazing. Had 3 of their most recommended and even bought a loaf of sour dough for home. Handsdown, was one of the most enjoyable brunches I had. Their beverages too are worth a mention. Their coffee drinks were very well prepared and tasty. Definitely worth coming. Not exactly cheap, but worth every cent. Extra credit goes to the team for their amazing service and friendliness.
View on GoogleEverything we ordered was delicious and beautifully presented. Turkish eggs with sourdough pisi, sourdough passatelli pasta, morel mushroom lemon cream pasta, monk's hog yolk focaccia. Drinks were unique and yummy too! Service was superb - friendly, personal and warm despite the place being crowded and busy. Cosy seating, even outdoors which is sheltered and has a ceiling fan. Highly recommend to make a trip down for a different-from-usual cafe experience. May need to wait for seats but it'll be worth it!
View on GoogleBoth the beef Shepard’s pie and chicken pie look and taste good! However rather pricey at $18.90 each… Dirty chai latte $8.80 also taste not bad, however too pricey for a rather small cup 🥹 Wish they could sell their sourdough loaf in half loaf so that I could try it. Limited seats avail.
View on GoogleThis place doesn’t need a bigger crowd - but amazing sourdough! We came for brunch and tried some favourites - shepherd’s pie, morel pasta, tiramisu, sourdough. Everything was solid. Service was great. Place was a bit cozy and very busy, but generally alright. The real kicker though was the French onion soup sourdough we brought home! Really really good. Bread was soft and chewy, had an interesting flavour and just the right tang. Crust was complementary, gave some structure and bite. Great stuff.
View on GoogleStill a very popular spot given how crowded it was. Space inside wasn’t big and it was pretty cramped, tables were almost touching and the tables were already pretty small. Nonetheless, credits to them to absorb the gst and service charge as prices were nett and they do provide table service although water is $1 free flow. Items tried were the monk egg focaccia which was chewy but not the crispy exterior I was hoping for. Shepherds pie was amazing as the interior was super rich and generous with pulled beef. The meatballs were alright, still prefer ikea meatballs and would have skipped this.
