Amazing experience! The food was delicious, the drinks were unique, and the atmosphere was fantastic. Yoshi-san truly knows everything about sake — you don't just get a drink, you also learn the story behind it, how it is made, and where it comes from. It feels more like a journey than just a tasting. "Dangerous food and dangerous drinks" in the best possible sense — everything is so good that you always want to try just one more. Highly recommended!
View on GoogleYoshi is a master. I love his storytelling and how he cares for all of the ingredients in his bar. Try his home made Umeshu - it’s actually the best one I’ve ever had. I would come just for this. There are some unique drinks and foods on the menu that are great for small snacks to pair with drinks. Come for a chill vibe to relax and hang out with friends. Small spot, with big flavour.
View on GoogleSake Bar with a classy salon interior. The flight of Kimura glasses show the quality and experience the owners hope to achieve. Sake selection is carefully curated. Limited bottles are Off-menu but ask the master (Yoshi-san) for his recommendations. You may find an Aramasa, Jikon or Noguchi stashed in the fridge! Sake by the carafe or bottle only. House selection comes with a helpful explanation card. Food is mainly otsu-mami, but pickles are well-executed and more-ish. Yakitori is surprisingly juicy despite being finished in the airfryer! Ask for the off-menu don and oden if you are peckish. Take the counter seats and start a conversation with the master. Service is personable and smooth. Thank you Yoshi-san!
