View on Googlefirst time trying this place. Used to visit Old Lai Huat at Rangoon road, and miss the sambal fish. The chilli here not that spicy, but the taste of sambal fish is similar. Quite nice. Coffee shop is at one corner, there is no wind, and can be very stuffy.
View on GoogleAlways noticed this zhichar restaurant whenever I walked past Jalan Besar stadium. Just so happen to pass by this area and decided to pop by for dinner. We came here around 8pm, and there wasn't much people except for a few more other tables. We ordered a total for 4 dishes, Sambal Kangkong with cuttlefish, prawn paste chicken, sweet and sour pork and an Omelette. Food didnt took long to be ready. The food was good! The sweet and sour pork and prawn paste chicken was pretty unique as they were different from the usual one you eat at other zhichar stall. Overall we enjoyed the food, the bill came about SGD40 for 2pax. I would definitely come back again in the future to try their other dishes.
