Visited Kok Kee Wanton Noodles recently and it brought back plenty of memories. This is one of those nostalgic spots that many Singaporeans have grown up with, and while the original owners no longer appear to be physically running the stall, it's nice to see the business still operating and preserving much of what made it popular in the first place. Food quality remains surprisingly close to what I remember from years ago. The noodles still carry that distinctive Kok Kee flavour profile that has always set it apart from other wanton mee stalls. One thing to note is that both the chilli and the noodles themselves tend to divide opinions. The chilli has a very specific character that wanton mee enthusiasts either love or don't quite take to. Likewise, the noodles lean ever so slightly towards the sweeter side compared to many traditional versions. Personally, I think that's exactly why Kok Kee has maintained such a loyal following over the years. It doesn't try to be everything to everyone and instead stays true to its own style. If you're already a fan of Kok Kee's flavour profile, chances are you'll continue to enjoy it today. The environment is comfortable for a casual meal. Located within a kopitiam setting, the seating area is relatively spacious, brightly lit, and benefits from decent ventilation. It makes for an easy and comfortable place to enjoy a quick lunch without feeling overly cramped. Service is straightforward and efficient. Orders are placed at the stall and food is collected on a self-service basis. During my visit, everything moved along quickly and waiting time was minimal. Overall, Kok Kee remains one of those nostalgic Singapore food institutions that continues to retain much of its original character. Whether you'll love it depends largely on whether you're a fan of its unique sweet-leaning noodle profile and signature chilli, but for longtime supporters, it still offers a taste of yesteryear.

Actually a local street food center. We tried to tatse the street food. Not actually meant for tourists Staffs are just ok. They see you like alien. Language is very difficult Cost is very cheap Tatse is good Food is very well cooked. NB: We need to take our trash and clean the table after use NB2: no card payment. Only by cash or paynow account Again its a local street food center so just go and have an experience. Dont expect premium care.

Kok Kee Wanton Noodle is a well-known local spot celebrated for its traditional Singapore-style wonton noodles, drawing steady crowds throughout the day. The noodles are delightfully springy, tossed in a savoury sauce with a subtle sweetness that enhances every bite. A highlight of the dish is the char siew—tender, soft, and gently sweet without being caramelised, offering a more delicate and balanced flavour profile compared to the usual roast pork. Each bowl is accompanied by fresh leafy greens and plump wontons filled with juicy, well-seasoned meat, adding depth and comfort to the dish. The simplicity of the ingredients allows the quality and execution to shine through, making it a satisfying and nostalgic meal for many. Despite its no-frills setting, Kok Kee consistently sees long queues, especially during peak hours, a testament to its enduring popularity. The added convenience of accepting credit card payments sets it apart from many traditional stalls, making it even more accessible to a wider crowd. Affordable, flavourful, and reliable, Kok Kee Wanton Noodle remains a favourite for those seeking a comforting taste of classic hawker fare.

Reputed to be among the best Wantan noodles in Singapore. I ordered the small portion of char Siew and Wantan noodles- the noodles are good, texture is nice and the char Siew portion is rather generous. The special sauce on the noodles is tasty and the chili sauce really enhances the flavour. Service is good, at $5.50, it’s reasonably priced.

Stopped by Kok Kee and had a fantastic meal. The Dry Wonton Noodle and Dry Wonton Hor Fun are absolute must tries. The signature secret sauce is incredibly fragrant, perfectly balancing savoury and sweet.
