Fantastic food!!! Been to many Indian restaurants but this left a deep impact to my taste buds. Staff were awesome. The kids said it was their best day of their lives and never imagined Indian food can be that good. To me, I walked down memory lane when I tasted their dessert - something I had before 40 years ago. The manager (Karthik) offered a complimentary soup and desserts for sampling. Remarkable gestures.

Decided to give this restaurant a try and it certainly did not disappoint! All the dishes were scrumptious and flavourful. In particular, the coconut mutton, mango prawn curry, mutton soup and chicken ghee roast stood out. Everything was served hot and tasted fresh. The owner of the restaurant was also extremely friendly in terms of giving us recommendations, while letting us sample additional interesting dishes. One could tell that much thought and effort has been placed in designing the dining experience. Overall the service is excellent, ambience is relaxing and environment is clean. Highly recommend!

Based on reviews I decided to check this place out and wasn't disappointed. Greeted warmly and seated immediately. The Paper Dosa was ENORMOUS, crisp and light and the accompanying dips all delicious. Kundupra chicken mouth watering, tender and moist with delightful spices. And the standout for me was Mushroom 65. Cutlery supplied upon request, or just use the free papadams or order some bread/dosa like I did and sop it all up straight into your mouth.

Food is medicine The food was really delicious and fresh. Flavours were well balanced and portion size was perfect. Service was quick and friendly too. Definitely a place I’d love to visit again!

Visited Kalam Restaurant recently and had such a satisfying meal! 🤍 We ordered the paniyaram, string parotta, and chilli prawn — everything was absolutely delicious. The paniyaram was soft inside with a slight crisp on the outside, just perfect. The string parotta was fresh and nicely done, pairing so well with the dishes. But the highlight for me was definitely the chilli prawn — flavourful, well-seasoned, and cooked just right! Great taste, comforting South Indian flavours, and overall a very enjoyable dining experience. Will definitely be coming back again!
