Came here to celebrate my husband's birthday. The dining space was comfortable and spacious, though it could get a little noisy and echoey. The table next to us was laughing at the top of their lungs. We ordered the steak and fries, fried mushrooms, calamari, and the brown butter pasta with ribeye. The food was generally good. The steak was decent but slightly tough and not quite melt-in-your-mouth. I like the peppercorn sauce. It was my first time trying brown butter pasta and I enjoyed the rich, creamy, buttery flavour. Calamari and mushrooms were nice too! One downside was the drinks, which felt quite expensive at over $7+ for a small cup. Overall, dining here is definitely on the pricier side, but the experience wasn't disappointing. Service was good too. You can expect birthday celebration every 20 mins haha! My last visit was when Chiko Pollo was still at Great Madras, and I was disappointed with the food quality back then. This visit was a pleasant surprise, and I think they have improved a lot since then. Still pricey, but definitely much better than before.

pastas were al-dente and flavours were great. aglio olio had a rich garlic fragrance, brown butter was rich and thick. proteins were well cooked and generously portioned, sides were quite unique and good for sharing as well. garlic fried rice can be a little too oily at the bottom, garlic fragrance wasnt as prominent vs the aglio olio. worth a try if havent, will be back when in the area.

I reserved a booking to celebrate my friend's birthday and it was such a splendid experience. Before the day of booking, I called to pre-order a brownie for a surprise birthday celebration. The staff at Chiko Pollo understood the assignment and delivered; a birthday song and even a sparkler on the brownie(tasted heavenly btw). Besides the successful surprise, the food was amazing. Each dish had a good amount of flavour and was definitely worth the price. I'd highly recommend the Smoked Duck Pizza which had a hint of sambal that helped cut through the grease of the cheese. A few favourites were also the Fried Calamari; so fresh and crispy and the Browned Butter Pasta; so well balanced and savoury. Even the drinks we ordered were so refreshing, complimenting the dishes we ordered. Besides the food, every on the staff on shift were attentive and welcoming. They even checked on us to make sure we were comfortable and satisfied with our meals. I'll definitely be making another reservation soon.

The food was excellent. Service is 10/10. Recommendation 100%. Atmosphere is perfect with subtle music playing in the background. Parking is the best. Spent my birthday here and lets just say its not going to be the last. Archie was one of our servers and he was just one of a kind i'm telling you. Nice, friendly, born to be in the service industry. Went for a couple dinner at Chiko Pollo yesterday and we absolutely loved the ambiance — very modern, cosy, and lively. It was a full house when we arrived. The table next to us mentioned that their food came almost 1 hour late, so we were prepared to wait… but thankfully our dishes arrived much faster than expected! We ordered the steak with fries, carbonara with steak, burger banjir, mushroom soup, and shiitake mushroom. Every single dish was delicious and well-prepared. The flavors were rich, and the portions were satisfying. We completed our meal with their strawberry and watermelon mojitos, which were refreshing and the perfect finish to our dinner. Overall, a great dining experience — good food, great vibe, and efficient service (at least for us!). Will definitely be coming back again. 💯✨
