Had a great experience at Cafe Nido, largely thanks to Mei Bao. She offered helpful recommendations, while being friendly instead of pushy. She was extremely accommodating with requests and offered to make a less sweet version of the ribena-lychee drink when I asked how sweet it was. It turned out to be not too sweet at all, as promised, and extremely refreshing, particularly after a long walk on a hot, humid Singapore afternoon. I can also vouch for the French toast with berries, which I had for breakfast. If you're staying at the Hotel YAN, you might like past this place as it shares the hotel lobby, but it's actually a pretty decent cafe in its own right, particularly bearing in mind the 20% discount hotel guests get here.

Because it's located in a hotel lobby, most people might give this a pass but the food is delicious. The team put a lot of effort in creating fusion combinations that works. The manager does not believe in precooked foods so a lot of their menu is freshly prepared. Portions are good and there's usually enough room to tuck into some desert. The ambience is cosy and my experience eating there, repeatedly has been very enjoyable.

Everything here tastes and feels really handmade. The fries obviously didn't come from a freezer. Service is brilliant! The owner has really put her heart into this place and it shows. She's always more than glad to attend to guests. Come and experience this place for yourself.

TLC is nice cozy cafe. Owner is super friendly and she is a great host.she really knows how to pamper the guests. Apple crumble is a must try in TLC
