Came by to try the steak and eggs, truffle fries, yakitori chicken rice bowl, and a butterscotch latte. While everything was perfectly edible and decent, nothing really left a lasting impression especially for the price you pay for. The steak was decent but lacked the richness and tenderness you’d expect at this price point. The truffle fries were crispy enough, though the truffle flavour was rather subtle. The yakitori chicken rice bowl was straightforward and filling, but not particularly memorable. It was also too salty. The butterscotch latte was probably my favourite of the lot, with a nice balance of sweetness, though it still wasn’t enough to elevate the overall experience. Service was polite but fairly transactional, with little that stood out in terms of attentiveness or hospitality. Will probably not come back unless i am near the area. My biggest gripe is the pricing. For what was ultimately a fairly ordinary meal, the bill felt difficult to justify. There’s nothing objectively wrong with the food, but with so many great cafés and brunch spots around, this one struggles to stand out. If you’re nearby and curious, it’s worth a try once, but I wouldn’t be rushing back.
View on Googlevery average place but expensive but good vibes for studying. we got the dirty matcha, kyoto mont blac, fried broccoli and dirty nori capellini. dirty matcha was very mid for the price. waaaay too heavy on the grass taste it over powered the coffee. -3 kyoto mont blac was really good! good balance of matcha and coffee, probably on the sweeter side which i liked. +2 fried broccoli was decent. got it cause of the other reviews but they served it to us without the lemon wedge which did not help the taste. we had to request for the lemon but it did it wonders and made it way better. be sure to spritz the lemon. 0.5 dirty nori capellini is alright. surprisingly creamy but can get really jelak so beware. doesn’t come with a lemon wedge but we used the leftover from the broccoli and it helped. 1 v average as per the name but overpriced. didn’t get the free side for doing this review :P cause we never ask for it
View on GoogleWas here on a friday evening and was surprised it wasnt crowded at all~ was a little bumped that the cold foam matchas were sold out. What we tried: • sour cream & cheese buffalo wings - the wings had just the right amount of spice and the sour cream + cheese balanced everything out. i would actually come back for this! • dalgona matcha latte - an interesting flavour combination that was enjoyable but coffee was way stronger than the matcha and ended up taking centre stage. the drink itself overall was still nice creamy and smooth though • matcha chestnut latte - really enjoyed this one! the matcha flavour was quite robust without being bitter or astringent and the sweetness of the chestnut paste added a nice balance to the drink! • potato pleasure- was pleasantly surprised to find an onsen egg in this dish! overall, the potato puree was buttery and silky smooth. however, the spring onion oil was a bit too intense for our liking and ended up overpowering the delicate potato flavour. • dirty nori capellini w tiger prawns - expected it to be slightly spicy, similar to aglio olio but it turned out to be surprisingly creamy with a strong seaweed flavour. the prawns added a nice texture to the dish but after a few bites it became quite jelat, best for sharing
View on GoogleThis is my first time visiting this place after seeing reviews on it online! Love the matcha, it’s really unique and tbh i haven’t really see anywhere selling lavender matcha before so it’s a first! look at the pretty colour too ☺️😍💕 matcha was not overly sweet, lavender flavour wasn’t too overpowering. very unique, i feel like matcha lovers should try this if visiting here!
View on GoogleNice and comfortable cafe! Went on a Sunday afternoon as 2pax and was seated immediately. The drinks are delicious and generous with an reasonable price. The portions for the food are also very generous, especially for the fries. However, the flavouring is rather heavy on the oil, salt, and sauce. The broccoli and fries felt like they were pooling in oil, and that felt unbalanced for my taste.
