This is an Indian restaurant. Wait popular for breakfasts, offering Indian fare. It's quite pricey but the food is good. First time here but the impression is not very good, service was slow despite the price paid. It took 30 minutes for an order of two dosai and two coffees to be prepared. Food wise, they have quite a big range but you need to ask what's available. Some dishes are served in the afternoons or nights.

Curry is watery. Waiter doesn't even eat the food here and couldn't give us her recommendation for what is good to eat here (I can see why). The Masalah doseh was disappointing (and wet). My tea tasted like water even after scooping 3 spoonfuls of brown sugar into it. The mango drink we ordered tasted like Meji Mango Yogurt and was literally just sitting in a fidge. I don't know what kind of AI this place is using to review itself but it does not deserve anything remotely close to 4.3 stars. Disappointed.

It has been a long time since my wife and I last dined here to get our South Indian vegetarian bread fix - but we blame the seemingly "endless" choice of such eateries all over Little India and also, all over Singapore. Anyway, my wife and I reacquainted ourselves with the food here today (17 January 2026) and we are happy to "report" that the quality of the food here is still very very good. We ordered the following here today: a Rava Dosai, a Ragi Dosai, a pair of Vadai and a Black Tea. The Dosais were both not only very good but also seemed to be a bigger portion than before. The Vadais were fluffy and soft. The chutneys were very good especially the tomato chutney that had a spicy kick to it, and the coconut chutney here is served "drier" than other places in Little India, which we prefer. The dhal here was also very good. The only chutney missing here was the green coriander chutney, which I hope will be available in future. Service here was very good - friendly and attentive. The dining ambience here was very good - well ventilated and in air-conditioned comfort.

We recently ordered food from Nagercoil Arya Bhavan for a Valaikappu (Tamil Bangle Ceremony), and the entire experience was exceptional. The buffet setup was done perfectly, and the food was absolutely delicious—authentic South Indian vegetarian cuisine at its best. The team arrived on time and even provided more manpower than originally promised, ensuring everything went smoothly. A special mention to Mr. Selvan, who went above and beyond to make sure the setup and service were flawless. His professionalism, kind nature, and willingness to help in every possible way truly stood out. He is a great asset to the company. We wouldn’t hesitate to choose Nagercoil Arya Bhavan again for future events. If you’re looking for high-quality South Indian vegetarian catering, this is definitely the place to go.
