Ordered plain chang fen for $3. Taste: good Texture: excellent Amount for money: good Personally this is not very hk style since it doesn't have the peanut/seaseme sauce. Having say that, this franchise (this is the main) have one of the better make cheong fan around. Taste was good but not great, not savory enough, like almost there but lack a bit of intensity. Texture was excellent, silky and can be slurped down. But of course it is due to the oil. Amount given was quite good for $3.
View on GoogleLocated in Pek Kio Market & Food Centre, this stall serves freshly made Chee Cheong Fun in disposable container. They are under Michelin guide. Be prepared to wait as the food were only made after you order them. Great savoury sweet sauce drizzled over and the ingredients generous for the prawn and char siew one. Highly recommend.
View on GoogleSaw a feature on hawkers on CNA and came to try. Had the normal and bbq pork Chee Cheong Fan. Total cost $7. Service was fast. Served hot. Sauce is delicious. Texture is just right. Bbq pork is generous. Portion size is generous as well. Quite filling. Would recommend.
View on GoogleThe best chee cheong fan. Better than the other chain because the skin here is thinner and has a better texture. Sauce was light and savory, and sesame seeds added fragrance to it.
View on GoogleKitty and I visited Pin Wei Hong Kong Style Chee Cheong Fun. We were intrigued to try their Hong Kong-style Chee Cheong Fun, a popular dish known for its delicate rice noodle rolls. The ambiance of the place was inviting, and the service was prompt. The pricing at the stall was reasonable, with the basic Chee Cheong Fun priced at $3 and the option with a scallop filling priced at $6. We were delighted to find out that the Chee Cheong Fun is freshly made on the spot when you order. The lady server provided utmost service and was very friendly. However, kitty found that the chili provided was a bit salty, affecting the overall taste slightly. Despite this, the freshly made Chee Cheong Fun, excellent service, and overall taste still deserve a 5-star rating. I would recommend visiting this stall for the delightful flavors and friendly service.
