Our 2nd time here and I must say this is somewhere you can count on if u need a quick BKT fix. But only if u like the herbal broth unlike the peppery clear soup type. We ordered 4 dishes. The mix BKT was ok, with meat and other items like tau pok and intestines. The veg of chyesim was bland. It was just boiled veg drenched with some oyster sauce. Chicken feet was tasty and juicy, we loved it. We also ordered a spicy dried belly pork which was not too bad in flavor, but too salty. Overall, a good place to eat BKT. Service was not too bad with constant soup refill. And price is also reasonable.
View on GoogleFirst time trying this Klang-style bak kut teh just beside Farrer Park MRT Exit B. The place is easy to find, with a spacious and comfortable dining area. The herbal broth has a distinct herbal flavour, but it's a little too sweet for my liking. The dry bak kut teh is tasty and well-seasoned, although I would have preferred it to be a bit drier. The pork ribs weren't as tender as expected, but the pork belly was cooked just right. Portion sizes are generous.
View on GoogleCraving for BKT after watching Zermatt recent YouTube video with Mark Lee and Annette. I prefer the herbal than pepper kind. I like that they included pig’s tail but I find the pieces of pork belly, intestine can be cut smaller. Find it hard to consume. Spicy pork belly also worth a mention. All are quite big portion. Seems like the dry BKT have better ratings - can try this on my next visit. Service was fast too on a Sunday lunch hr and appreciate the air-con!
View on Googlefirst visit from recommendations everywhere. it's an added bonus that the restaurant is air conditioned.😂 what amazes me is the big space between tables so that it feels more comfortable and free, despite a growing queue during lunch time. both the soup and dry bak kut teh comes with a assorted choice of innards and pork ribs. you also have options to exclude the various parts if you don't eat them. soup was quite good. dry bak kut teh has a hint of heat from the chillis and the huatiaojiu (Chinese cooking wine) chicken was very flavorful. youtiao is crispy and goes so well when dipping in soup. service is amazing, free refills of their soup. they do have options for just pork rib soup if you prefer not to have intestines in your meal.
View on GoogleSecond time coming to this restaurant. Really spacious with nice vibes. Their huadiao chicken was our favourite, very saucy & enough flavour. The bakkutteh had a nice herbal taste to it so if you like more herbal taste can give this place a try! Overall will recommend :)
