Dropped by Tim Ho Wan at Aperia Mall for a quick dim sum fix and it delivered exactly the kind of comforting, no fuss meal you expect. The space is casual and straightforward, perfect for a simple lunch when you are craving classic Cantonese bites without the long wait. The star of the table has to be the baked BBQ pork buns. The exterior is lightly crisp with a sweet buttery glaze, while the inside is packed with smoky char siew that leans slightly sweet and savoury. It is the kind of dish that disappears within seconds. Fried carrot cake with prawn is generous in portion too. Porridge is abit too watery for my liking. The steamed items are solid too. Har gow comes with plump prawns wrapped in a delicate skin, while the siew mai is juicy and satisfying. Portions are small but that is the fun of dim sum since you can order a few different plates to share. Overall it is a dependable spot for a quick dim sum craving. Nothing overly fancy, just comforting favourites done well.

Had a great experience at Tim Ho Wan. The place is easy to find, which always makes things smoother right from the start. What stood out was the wide variety of Hong Kong-inspired dim sum, you can really tell they stay true to the original recipes. Every dish felt comforting and well thought through, not just your typical run-of-the-mill dim sum. Service made a big difference too. Yi Xiang, the assistant manager, was extremely personable and welcoming. That kind of genuine attention is rare and it really elevates the whole dining experience.

Is my first time here at this branch. The branch manager and staffs are very responsive and friendly. The restaurant atmosphere is clean and good.

Nice food. Great services by the team. Wonton are fresh, egg noodles are tangy QQ. Pork chop rice is nice and big servings too. Char Siew Rice is yummy. Photo says it all.....😁
