If you see my reviews, they are mainly 5/5 for food. I try to review only the places with already high google reviews and stays true to the taste quality. This place is a must visit. Come here multiple times if you can because they have daily specials with sashimi, oysters etc at promotional prices. Have to try the kombu salad, hamachi carpaccio, beef slices (on the refreshing and tangy side), and unagi maki. Super thick slices of fresh salmon sashimi. One Sapporo beer (can size volume) is $5.90, which is reasonable. They also gave complimentary mini cheese cake with sesame ice cream for birthday! We ordered really a lot of food hence it's about $75-80 per person . The taste, quality and portion is definitely value for money. Honestly, nothing that is not nice here. Strong izakaya hustle-bustle vibes, need to speak louder to hear your friend. Place is on the cosy side. Good experience here. Also noted that they have lots of regular and returning customers. Staff seemed to already know them when they walked in.

Surprisingly good find in an unexpected place. Restaurant serves really good jap cuisine. Price affordable especially weekday lunch set. Diff promotion each weekday. Super yummy unagi rice. Everything we ordered are nice and in generous portions. Highly recommended!

First time here on a walk-in basis with a group of friends. We were recommended here. Full house. Queued and managed to get our Tables after less than an hour. We began to order the food, Sashimi Moriwase, Kaki, recommended fish Isaki, Garic friend rice, wagyu cheek, Ika Karage, yakiudon, Yakitori, etc. Everyone loved the food. Looking through the menu and tasting the food, a nostalgic feeling overcame me. Reminded me of the cooking of my Japanese Chef friend whom have since left Singapore. Hmm Ah Leong, are you here?

Had a wonderful dinner here. The food arrived quickly, and everything we ordered was delicious. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, and the cozy atmosphere made it easy to relax and enjoy the evening. Perfect spot for gatherings with friends or a casual date night.

2026 January Enjoyed the Wednesday Sashimi promo. Generous thick cut portions. Also had the Edamame and Tonkatsu Donburi and Veggies Tempura. Of course have to also get the Sapporo Beer. Signed up as member and received several vouchers. However, cannot use all together at same time. This was a little forced, seems like a way to make the consumer come back for multiple times. I get it, but at the same time the coercion, makes me feel slightly offended. Not sure this is the effect the voucher program is going for. Cozy ambience, low lighting, good for relaxing, perhaps a beer on a Friday etc. The seat cushions don't appear to be in the best of conditions, visibly so. Tried and couldn't find one that looked acceptable. Would like if these were properly cleaned.
