New open Japanese sashimi stall at food court - Harami Sashimi & Donburi. Special request from Chef Patrick for Oyaku Don not in the menu as my favourite. If the taste more sweet a bit will be wonderful power!! Than you Chef 👍🏻🙏
View on GoogleThere's another review here mentioning an off-menu item, Oyakodon, from the first stall as you enter the food court. I ordered this today. It cost $12. Walked in at 11:00 am. There was no queue. Had to wait 7 minutes for the food, which was fine. When the dish came it smelled correct; however it was very bland in taste. Flavours were present albeit extremely light. It was sopping wet at the bottom of the bowl. Portion size was a bit less than I would have liked. The stall was able to provide a shaker of chilli powder when requested. It does not come with soup. I appreciated the garnishings of seaweed and green onion. At $12 a bowl, considering the options available in the food court (which are cheaper to boot), and the lack of flavour, I would not order this again.

View on GoogleFood Court was recently reopened after “renovation”. Main changes include (1) increased prices, (2) weaker air-conditioning, and (3) old tables and chairs cheaply laminated over with marble-like prints. There were additions of some round tables at the front, but they hardly added to the seating capacity overall. A cup of iced milo now costs $3.50, cai fan with 2 meats 1 veg $6.40, and chicken rice set $8 - all a sharp increase from before the renovation with no improvements in taste or dining atmosphere. At these prices, one would be better off supporting the smaller standalone stalls on Level 1.
