Nice coffee. Good kaya. Value for money. Chill and Relaxing environment. But the staff would SHOUT your orders very loudly. This will Spoil the ambiance. I suspect he does not mean to be rude. Otherwise, I would have given 4 stars.

Came on a cloudy day afternoon, sat beside the opened sliding glass doors, enjoying occasional cool breeze. $5 peanut butter kaya toast set, nicely browned and super crispy, coffee great too! Available only on weekdays 8:30-6:00pm

Banchong Cafe is similar to "toast box" ala cafe style. The place is semi outdoor and has a really big space. Food wise i believe is quite usual since i only buy 🥖 set + my friend buy mee soto set(my friend says so-so). Price wise is friendly roughly 6.1 set for french & mee soto set 9.4(consider expensive) I recommend not to eat, however just snack and quick grab only, good for hanging out with friends. Open start (8.30am-6pm)

Hidden and tucked away inside Vanguard campus at Kallang. This used to be a carpark. What a smart transformation. It’s usually quaint and quiet. I came here for lunch. Got distracted with the clever use of space and forgot about the food! There is no aircon. But it will well ventilated with the help of high ceiling and plants. Now let’s talk about the food. Curry Chicken with toasted bread or rice. The curry is very salty. At times, I see my friends cringe and go into spasms with every bite. The Nasi Lemak is merely food assembly of various items that is mismatched. The fried chicken felt like airfried nuggets and the rice was void of coconut flavour. I will skip the coffee because non of us finished it. I mean for a hide away and quick meal, I think it’s ok. Just don’t expect it to taste good.

Such a quiet and quaint place for breakfast. Non-air-conditioned but the high ceiling and ventilation is very good even in such a hot weather. My favourite is their soft boiled eggs. They are large eggs with huge yolks done just right that makes it so fulfilling. Their hot food like mee sian is only available after 10am as we were there at 8.30am.
