When I gave the Tekka Centre in Little India quarter of Singapore a visit, I intentionally didn't search for recommended food stands. Instead, I wanted to try a spot with the largest queue of locals. That's how I ended up in this food stand, and I'm really glad I did as I had one of the best Indian meal ever. I went for the chicken tandoori set for just $7 and it was great. Especially the naan bread!
View on GoogleThis place has always been my comfort food spot. Their naan and chicken tikka are, for me, the best. Years ago, when my workplace was nearby, I used to come here weekly. Now that I’ve moved to a new job and location, I still make it a point to visit at least once every quarter just to satisfy my cravings. I come here whenever I’m feeling down or even when I’m celebrating something—it always brings me joy. I’ve already brought many friends, colleagues, and relatives here, and they all loved it. My dad especially enjoys their food too. This place holds a special place for me, and I’ll keep coming back whenever I can.
View on GoogleGood, authentic North Indian food with plenty of vegetarian options available. Prices are very reasonable ~ my friend and I had the Vegetarian Briyani Set (which came in generous portions) for only $6, and the Cheese & Garlic Naan for just $3. It's a really affordable and satisfying meatless meal at Tekka Centre.
View on GoogleOne of the best naan place In tekka center. Their chilli garlic naan is awesome. Cost wise is mid low side. Taste wise high side. Always crowed in the evenings. They do have set meals also. 2 plain naan with keema is abt $6-7.
View on GoogleThis stall is recommended by my ah bu neh neh friend. Even though the stall directly behind is under Michelin guide he prefers Shan e Punjab. Overall it's satisfying meal. Mutton keema was shiok and punchy, no goat smell. Not the best chicken tikka but still fine. For this standard, the price is unbeatable. Ordered tandoori set $7. Includes 2 plain naans, chicken tikka, veg, complimentry curry. Ala carte mutton keema $4. Garlic naan $2. Total $13.
