Good experience, found this shop located near little India First time trying pani puri, quite a nice experience, the crunchy filling and minty sauce is nice The ghee dosa is delicious, lovely ghee coated and crispy. Dhal and other chutneys were on point as well. The plain uttapam is slightly disappointing, plain one is very filling and plain, maybe an egg one/ flavoured would be better Coffeee was very normal, slightly pricy not very worth it They also serve freshly made Appom! Would love to try that next time!
View on GoogleMaduras villas is a pure veg restaurant...I ordered the veg mutton briyani w iced badam milk(also known as iced almond milk)... There was lots to choose from the menu given to me... Aft much thinking I decided to try this today...both the food n the drink was really very delicious...👍 I paid $17 something for the food n the drink... expensive but I was happy to have a delicious lunch today at maduras villas...a very nice atmosphere....music was being played in the restaurant so that people get to listen to the music n have their meals...a nice dining area w lie back chair to relax n enjoy my meal... something which I did not like about the restaurant was the stairs...I was being told to go upstairs to eat...so had to clomb the stairs to go up...service was good...the staffs were not rude to me...I would have given fully 5 stars but for the stairs I m giving 4 stars... Today went to this restaurant again to eat but the service was v bad...left without eating there... The first time I went there I said I want to sit downstairs the staff said cannot sit downstairs I was being told to go upstairs... But there were seats downstairs but I did not argue... The 2nd time I went there today I say should I go upstairs to eat as the first time I did not get to eat downstairs...but the staff v rude say I 1 person cannot go upstairs to eat...what I don't understand was the 1st time also I 1 person but was told to go upstairs when there were empty seats downstairs but y the 2nd time different rule??? But I just kept quiet... downstairs full no seat but still the staff never allow me to go up...I waited n waited...the staff not bothered to find me a seat to sit...there were people eat finish n go still I never get to sit...aft quite some time he ask me I 1 person is it??? I told him that did I not tell him when I came to the restaurant that I m 1 person came eat??? Again I had to wait... I felt the staff like don't care about me ... Towards other customers he not like that ... Peo come aft me get to sit n eat but y was I being treated this way??? All customers r supposed to be treated equally...I got so angry I just left the restaurant without eating... For this poor survice I m giving only 1 star for service...what is the purpose of the upstairs dining if I m not allowed to go upstairs??? So therefore atmosphere also 1 star... The food I m giving 5 stars for the 1st time that I eat there... This restaurant has to really improve on their service... Not only focus on food but service equally important... Food 50 % n service 50%...if 1 of it is good n the another is poor the good 1 will b brought down... Service is v poor n the bec of the atmosphere so therefore overall rating is only 1 star i m giving...
View on Googleservice was very attentive and quick. The puri was served hot and freshly made, which made it even better. The masala tea was amazing, and the dosai was also very good. Overall, a really nice experience!
View on GoogleI had a rava masala dosa and a filter coffee. The dosa was extremely tasty, same for the filter coffee. Very crispy too and the chutneys and sambar were very good as well. The service is fast, friendly and efficient. There is a small wash basin in the back to wash your hands.
View on GoogleAfter Mahalaya Amavasai prayers we were extremely hungry and we walked into this restaurant and had a set meal. No regrets at all. We enjoyed our meal. I miss their set meal so much I came back again. Back again for Sunday breakfast. I am very particular about the texture of thosai not too thin or thick and a little crispy here and there. Ghee thosai is my favourite.
