The ambience in Gayatri’s restaurant is pleasant and inviting as it is well decorated and very clean. I had the set meal which came with various side dishes, all of which were very tasty and authentic South Indian vegetable and curry dishes. On top of that I also ordered Kadai Chicken which well infused with aromatic masala. They also provided ghee which was heavenly when mixed with sambar. Not many restaurants provide ghee. The food was nothing short of excellent. The best I had in a long time and better than other prominent restaurants in Little India. Service was good. The restaurant manager was friendly and attentive. He asked me if I wanted chicken or fish curry and to take more rice. 😊. At the end of the meal, I was also served payasam. Overall, friendly staff, great food and ambience. Indeed a 5 star South Indian restaurant.

The food was consistently good every time I visited. I’ve been dining here with friends before, and now I’ve brought my kids too. I’m glad they loved it as much as I do. The Mysore mutton & fish cutlet were excellent. Those who enjoy Indian food should definitely give this place a try.

Was craving spicy Indian food for the longest time, and I am glad I dined in Gayatri. The Indian lady serving us was attentive and fantastic, she shifted us to another table when she sensed we weren’t comfortable with the initial seating. The mysore mutton was soft, flavourful, and packed with spices. It went together with the biryani rice. Their chicken chettinad was rich and creamy, and made me reach for more. Highly recommend dining here. Had such a pleasant experience with my husband and I will definitely return!

Super delicious Indian food, the pani puri and palak paneer are must-orders! Went as 2 pax for dinner and the restaurant was relatively empty and quiet. We ordered pani puri, naan, gayatri chicken masala and palak paneer. The cheese naan is very fluffy and had a nice cheese pull, while the sauces were delicious and just slightly spicy. The environment is very clean and chairs are very comfortable.

Ordered Chicken Briyani and fish cutlet. Portion : Good Taste : Bad Briyani and cutlet was tasteless. However chicken was very tender . Chef should taste their food when cooking. Even the side curry served was lacking of taste . No improvement since our last visit. Won't be back anymore .
