Very nice bowl of Prawn Noodles if you're in the area. The soup was delicious and concentrated. Very savoury and well balanced. (A fair amount of reviews have stated 'diluted' - mine was absolutely not). Maybe I was lucky or maybe it's been adjusted...but I was very happy with it regardless!) The noodles and other ingredients were all cooked and put together well. Noodles were properly blanched and served hot. Sliced pork was not 'dry' like those from quite a few other shops. Fried Pork lard and Shallots were 'clean' tasting and crispy. Chili was on the side so I controlled the heat...and it packed heat! Prawns were fresh but some still had the vein in them and that's a personal peave of mine. Otherwise, the stall operators were friendly and the food was served fresh & hot. Thanks for the good food!!!

Tried the signature prawn noodles at 545 Whampoa Prawn Noodles and had a good experience. The broth was flavorful and naturally sweet, with a rich prawn aroma. The prawns were fresh and springy, and the noodles were cooked just right. The portions were reasonable and the prices were fair. It’s a great spot for a comforting local meal, although it can get quite busy during peak hours. Overall, a solid bowl of prawn noodles and definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

545 Whampoa Prawn Noodles at Tekka Centre is a well-known hawker stall that has earned recognition in the Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand list, highlighting places that serve quality food at affordable prices. Despite its simple hawker setting, the stall has built a loyal following among locals who crave a comforting and flavourful bowl of prawn noodles. The star of the dish is the broth. It is simmered for hours using prawn shells and pork bones, producing a rich, aromatic soup with natural sweetness and depth. Each bowl comes generously topped with fresh prawns, lean pork slices, crunchy bean sprouts, and fragrant crispy pork lard that adds texture and flavour. Diners can choose between soup or dry versions, both equally satisfying. The noodles are cooked just right, maintaining a pleasant springy bite that pairs perfectly with the savoury broth or sauce. A spoonful of their homemade sambal chilli adds a spicy kick that enhances the sweetness of the prawns and the richness of the soup. Even with its Michelin recognition, the stall remains humble and affordable, staying true to Singapore’s hawker culture. For anyone visiting Tekka Centre, a bowl of prawn noodles here is a hearty, satisfying meal worth queuing for. 🦐🍜

The mixing of sauce is good, so it make the dry noodles taste nice. Not much ingredient, only prawn. But the prawn vein did not remove, it makes it very difficult to consume. The Manu list in the google map with pork rid, but it is not available, not sure why.

Their prawn noodles is $6 per bowl and there is usually a queue. I wish their portion of noodles and lard can be more as I am still hungry after eating, or should I say I wish it can be cheaper as their rival stall is selling at $4.00? I have tried both stalls and still appreciate the tastiness of the soap, the hardness of the noodles to the unsliced prawns that this stall used.
