A lunch treat from a friend to have Fish Curry here~ The curry is very rich, aromatic and appetising. Not oily at all so that it make you keep wanting all. Fish is fresh and quite meaty. The rice came in 3 big pots while 1 pot already seems to be the size for 2 pax. Very generous in portion. Their roti canai is quite crispy and I love it to dipped with the fish curry. We ordered two Briyani but it's good enough to share with 3 pax. Served with a bit of curry and raw onions and cucumber which made it more refreshing and add on the crunchiness. The rice is fragrant and is not that oily. Garlic Nan texture is good, but I find that the garlic is a bit too raw for me. It will be good if curry will be served to dip into it.
View on GoogleCozy Indian Muslim eatery with quite a large selection of dishes. Personal favorites include Mutton Rogan Josh with Naan set, Mutton Murtabak, Masala Tea, and Sweet Lassi. Usually not very crowded before 12.10pm and after 1pm, in between may be a little crowded. Staff are soft spoken and polite. Sometimes the food may take a while to be served, though after 1pm is usually faster. Prices are a little on the high side but that's expected in this district. Overall, not bad and helps with the occasional craving for naan.
View on GoogleStumbled upon this amazing place serving Indian cuisine at affordable prices. I swear, butter chicken has never been so aromatic and delicious, and their pratas, dhosai, chapatti and naan are amazing too. The staff there are also very friendly and pleasant. It's now my go to place for Indian cuisine
View on GoogleThe rice is very salty, the bundung super sweet. The papdam is off. Terrible. Not sure how they can serve overnight papdam. They need better quality foods. Too much salt oil and sugar to hide the taste of the food is not a good thing to do. Terrible experience not very keen to visit again. They serve so many different item's maybe the food I ordered was not the right choice.
View on GoogleCut throat prices. I still eat anyway. Hungry and most eateries closed in city gate on Monday. I ordered an ais limau and it’s $4. And a plate of nasi goreng ikan bilis is $6.90. Add 1 egg on top is $0.50. Total damage for a low standard Indian Muslim food is $11.90. Seriously the nearby Indian Muslim shops and stalls are much better. In price and taste!
