Craving for some chicken rice at this hawker and chanced upon this rather famous one that sports a long queue during lunch hour. Ordered both the steamed and roasted chicken to try out, and both variants were good 👍🏻 breast meat were tender which is a good sign 🍚 the rice was fragrant and of the right texture as well 🌶️ chilli was properly spicy too! Will definitely return when I’m back here!

Ordered roasted chicken with char siew rice but was given roasted pork which I didn't mind. The roasted chicken is tender but not much flavour. The roasted pork is a little dry and cut too thinly. I prefer larger slices so that you can experience the crunchy skin. Chilli and ginger which accompanied this dish is acceptable.

Was not meant to buy chicken rice when visited this hawker centre, but when I eating my noodle beside the chicken rice stall, the customer was non stop queuing, that curiosity can't stop me take away a half white boiled chicken and rice for my next meal. Wow, yes. That was a very delicious chicken, even I reheat it in microwave after few hours. It was still smooth, tender yet soft meat texture. Eating with their light sauce, chicken was sweet yet savory, so full of chicken umami flavor. No wonder this stall was so popular, non stop queues during lunch time. The flavourful rice was good too. Chilli is fresh and spicy. Their price was inscrese few times for the past few years, surely due to food cost and inflations. Nevertheless, hope they will stay the same pricing for as long as we customers wish of. Honestly, $24 and $12 for whole and half chicken will be ideal. Otherwise, to satisfy your craving, a $6 simple single portion set will also be a wonderful meal experience too. For $15.70 you get 1/2 steamed chicken and 2 packets of chicken rice. What a good deal! Chicken rice is one of my favorite simple dishes, is done well is really a great almost complete meal. In the area I live there is only 1 shop that sells it and although good is a bit of a walk and also expensive. So I was looking for a place near a station on the Blue line and I found this place. Directly after you go out Geylang Bahru, you cross the street you will find this Hawker place. I was surprised that didn’t seem to get a lot of foot traffic. This stall had a good queue despite all the other stores didn’t. Well their chicken was moist, tender and full of flavor, even the chicken breast which is my favorite. The rice and chili also quite good. So if you’re along the blue line and looking for a really good chicken rice, come visit, you won’t be disappointed.

Had a very tasty and cheap meal here for my 1st night in Singapore! The boss is super nice, he even gave me some takeout packaging since I was too full. Definitely will come back!
