Such a cozy private kitchen for a family celebration. Expecting our Google reservation to be confirmed but apparently they only accept reservations via call or WhatsApp, so they never received it. It was a festive occasion and many families were dining out, but thankfully, we arrived around 5pm and one of the lady boss was incredibly kind and accommodating after seeing that we had already made the trip down. She arranged a table for us that was reserved for a later timing, which we really appreciated. Food was absolutely delicious! Very comforting and nostalgic, truly ahma style home-cooked dishes (很有阿嬷的味道). Out of all the dishes we ordered, the 椰子鸡汤 is a definite must-try > rich, naturally sweet, and so comforting. We also loved the egg omelette with 青龙菜 simple but perfectly cooked! Warm hospitality and hearty homestyle food made this a really memorable dining experience. Will come back for sure!

Came across this restaurant accidentally while looking for lunch. Surprisingly the set lunch was value for money and the soup is tasty. The lady owner was kind to share that their soup is original and no msg added. It was indeed very tasty with the prawn paste chicken. The lady owner also shared that daily set lunch changes everyday and all food are like home cooked food. Will be back to try other meals soon.

Very authentic sorta traditional Malaysian-style food. One thing which really impressed me was the cleanliness. With the amount of decorative hangings about, you'd have expected some dust, but nope. I find that cleanliness of the place and utensils is usually a good barometer for the quality of the food in advance, as people who are more fussy about their hygene tend to be more detail-oriented in general. Havn't had hakka wine chicken for ages, and the trademark vegetable egg dish was great as well. Prices were a little steep however. Charming and comfy decor and seats, a little pseudo-Peranakan, but not quite. When I remarked about the statue of a dancing Ganesh where a chinese altar usually is in very traditional shops, and was treated to an ironic tale by the proprietor, about how it was picked up from the rubbish. Despite the 'wu you' name, they don't seem very outwardly buddhist. Which in a way does fit with many unassuming buddhist devotees in Singapore. They're next to a buddhist society tho. Prices are quiteeee steep though.

a homely place serving hearty and comforting food that feels like a home cooked meal. Must order: Hakka Fried Fermented Pork (wonderfully crispy on the outside and packed with flavour, very addictive) Can’t wait to come back and try more dishes from the menu

First time to this Malaysian restaurant. The coconut chicken soup is the best dish for us. The omelette with dragon chives is nice but a bit salty. The Paku pakis dish is more of a prawn dish with the fern being a side. Overall is a nice place for lunch or dinner but slightly on the high side.
