Fish is delicious but compare with last time the portion is lesser but the taste still as delicious as last time. Tofu prawns a bit tasteless & the mixed vegetables is ok. Price already increase but still within acceptable range.

We were there for dinner on a weekday at 5.30pm. The place started to get crowded from 6pm. And was almost full by the time we finished our dinner. Dishes were promptly served after ordering. The chilli prawns with tofu was flavorful and prawns were flesh. The steamboat had thick slices of fresh grouper, generous serving of spinach and yam. Soup was salty. There was unlimited soup topping up. The meatball roll was served as chunky big pieces, fried in thick batter. A little too heavy to our liking. The dried squih with Kang Kong was normal, no wow factor. Dinner was a little disappointing to us though the food pricing was good

Came back after more than 10 years and the taste is still exactly how I remembered it — which honestly says a lot. The fish head steamboat soup remains rich, milky, and comforting, with that old-school charcoal stove aroma that’s getting harder to find these days. You can tell they’ve stayed true to their original style instead of cutting corners. The ingredients were fresh, the broth had depth without being overly salty, and the whole experience felt nostalgic in the best way. It’s the kind of place that survives on consistency rather than trends. Dropped by after visiting Serangoon Broadway and it was worth the revisit. Recommended as always for anyone craving classic Teochew-style fish head steamboat.

The fish head soup was rich and flavourful. Would definitely recommend getting the prawn paste chicken side dish too. Great place to eat at if you're hanging in a large group. The vibe of the place was reminiscent of an old school eatery in Malaysia :')

First time trying this place after hearing about them for the longest time. We came around 8pm and was able to get seats immediately. They ran out of fillet so we went for their fish head instead. Also ordered nai bai & har cheong gai. The dishes came very fast & we were really delighted with how delicious the fish soup was! Love that it came with very generous serving of vegetables too & the lady came to top up our broth without us requesting. The fish head was really meaty too paired with this delicious vinegar chilli it was perfect! The nai bai dish although looks deceptively simple was very delicious too! The only dish we felt was ok and could be better was the har cheong gai. Although it was piping hot and crispy it seem to lack a bit of the prawn paste flavor . But all in all we had a wonderful dinner & will certainly look forward to coming back to try the other dishes
