This is a very good quality nasi lemak. I chose the fried chicken leg for extra protein! Yes, I workout at the gym and hence appreciate the generous chicken leg that offers more meat. The rice is expensive basmati grade and so sedap. Warm n not clumpy at all Ikan bilis is the authentic kind used in traditional nasi lemak n I like it so so much. Did I say they are also not stingy in their scoop? Sambal is heavenly.

Before coming to this outlet, I tried the outlet at Tiong Bahru Market. So there is a certain expectation of the food here. I got a premium thigh set this time round. Somehow I couldn't taste the coconut flavor in the rice as the food was not warm until finishing the rice halfway through. The fried chicken thigh was nice, juicy and tender. If you enjoy sweet chill, this would be the place to go to. Giving this place a average rating as the coconut rice is the heart and soul of nasi lemak.

Saw they added a new item(fried chicken thigh) and decided to give it a try. Portion is massive for $4 a piece but turns out to be severely overcooked outside and meat turns out to be tougher than jerky but severely undercooked inside :( Hope this is just a 1 off incident thought. Nonthless,the sambal is very good. 3 makciks in the store were also extremely friendly and cheerful.

Ok it's not that Bad but to us, it's a 7/10 probably and no way a 9.5/10 as claimed by many.....or by the wing Not too bad but no need to travel like I did for this. Sambal is no good ....I'm honest. It was just alright and not the kind of Sambal we hoped.. Nonetheless, glad to have tried it and cleared my understanding...now I know....

Update from previous 4⭐️: Now 2⭐️.So I had ordered an extra wing and that was undercooked and that’s a huge no no in my books if you’re running a good business. Huge health hazard and definitely just tastes so bad. —— A very decent Nasi Lemak. I was craving one this morning and decided to try, walked 15mins. Chose Set A, the one with chicken wing. It was satisfying and delicious. Not perfect— my complaint with many places is that they don’t nail the flavour of the rice— but the fried chicken, omelette, ikan bilis and sambal were good. Sambal could’ve used more umami flavour and been a bit spicier but even as someone who can handle a decent amount of spice (Birds Eye chili/cili padi), the sambal was decent enough. Portion-wise was very decent for the prices. I felt like I was fed by someone who actually wanted to feed people properly. If you’re around the area and craving Nasi Lemak, definitely give this place a go. As for atmosphere, well, I was here on Sunday morning around 10.30am and of course the whole food centre was very busy, mostly older folks. Only 2 people before me in the line when I arrived.
