The friendly old couple running the stall worked steadily through the orders. I tried both the fried kway teow and the fried Hokkien prawn mee. Kway teow is more savoury than the sweet kind you find elsewhere and I personally liked it very much. Their Hokkien prawn noodles were equally good too. Long queue but worth the wait.

Portion is big for $5. Comes with 3 large prawns. Manned by elderly couple. It lacks the prawn umami taste. I feel it's also a little over cooked. Expect queue.

The Hokkien Mee here is towards Dry style but not completely devoid of any residue stock. The finer bee hoon soaks up the broth well and gives very good flavour. More pork lard and chilli would have been nice. $5 version shown in the photo here.

Ordered Penang fried kway teow, kway teow is too big (should use smaller and thinner type for penang style), too plain, lack of wok hey, and maybe applying too little soya sauce, no taste, correct way is to splash some soya sauce near the end of for frying process. Very disappointed that it is too difficult to find goo fried kway teow in spore. Can’t finish this plate and throw it
