I'll be honest, their standard LorMee (Item 1) was ok. Nothing to complain and nothing to scream about. The uncle and auntie was relatively friendly as per the usual what we would expect. Only issue i had was the fried fish. It was obviously frozen dory. And while it was indeed crisp outside, inside was a wet mush of batter and fish meat which was almost a paste. It's my first time ordering and this experience makes me want to think thrice before ordering again.

Why eat ex PM Lee Hsiang Loong’s imaginary and non existent favorite Singapore dish mee siam mai hum, when u can have the authentic laksa with fresh fish

Visit date: 6 Apr 26 Actual rating: 3.5 Have seen lunch time queues at both this stall and it's neighbour! So curiosity got me for a while now... But today, the proverbial cat got killed 😆 I like that they served lor mee with traditional ingredients: braised pork belly and egg; fish cake; ngor hiang and tau gay 👍 However, the starchy gravy is super kiam and nearly sounded my #SodiumOverload alarm 😥 The drinks stall will no doubt have extra business as such! Braised egg and nhor hiang were on point, while pork tasted "old" and not tender. Fish cake was just so so. Overall, I would say it's decent lor mee without frills. But #MHTamChiak is unlikely to return (even if they also sell laksa) as it's hard to expect a recipe improvement 🤔 Oh well, I did give their food a shot 😉

Just try this new stall. Lor mee with fried fish n slice fried chicken cutlet.($5.50 each bowl) Food taste is good but just average and not as rated like two others put as 5 stars. After consume for 30min.Feel very thirsty...presume input alot MSG. You really need to improve it. Sorry to be very direct. I see this stall got so many review all gave 5 stars. It must be asking people to rate.It is not nice for fake rating!
