Food Review Roti Prata: The texture appears quite dense and lacks the characteristic "fluff" or airiness of a hand-flipped prata. If it was physically hard to pull apart, it likely sat on the griddle a bit too long or was pre-made. Curry/Gravy: To be improved, suggest to review on the amount of spices, a savory, robust kick would have saved the dry prata. Teh Tarik: Visually, the tea looks a bit "pale." A great Indian tea should have a strong, frothy head (pulled well) with a deeper tan color indicating a strong brew. Vibe & Setting The shop has that classic, no-frills neighborhood coffee shop energy—It’s the kind of spot that’s perfect for a quick, affordable bite, even if the execution on the day was a bit hit-or-miss. Unlikely repeated visit for meals there unless I'm around the area.
View on GoogleI ordered a plate of fried rice a few wks ago. The guy asked if I wanted anchovy (ikan bilis) in it. I said ok I don't mind. The food came shortly and on tasting the first spoonful of fried rice I felt I was biting a piece of hard bone and thought it cud be a small pcs of chicken bone. I took it out of my mouth and found a small anchovy which was so hard to bite. I continued to eat hoping the other anchovies would be soft but was disappointed. I complained to the staff and he agreed to replace my fried rice. As I did not have time to dine-in he agreed to pack for me. On reaching home I found the food half in quantity and anchovies all the more hardened! I wonder how many times they re-fried the anchovies and for such horrible food I was charged $6/- or more a plate. Will never recommend this eatery or go again!!
View on GoogleI was thrilled that the mutton chop I received looked just like the picture! 🤩 The mutton was incredibly tender and the sauce had such a delightful flavor. 😋 Truly a fantastic meal! ✨
View on GoogleVery solid prata! Good fluffy kind that’s made to order, with a not overly salted fish curry too. Slightly pricey at $1.40, but it comes in a generous portion too, which makes it worthwhile 👍🏻
