Great service and peaceful. The Keertan was amazing and the langar hall was packed. This is a place of worship, not one just for free food. Of course, Sikh culture welcomes every one to join them in Langar and do enjoy that but I see some comments just related to their Langar experience.you are expected to cover your head, so get a scarf. In times of Covid, these cannot be recycled For health reasons.

Central Sikh Gurdwara (also known as Wadda Gurdwara), is located at 2 Towner Road, Singapore 327804. It is situated in the Kallang planning area, at the junction of Towner Road, Serangoon Road, and Boon Keng Road. The temple is directly across from the Boon Keng MRT station (Exit C) on the North East Line. Established in 1912, it is the first and oldest Sikh gurdwara in Singapore. The current building was completed in 1986 and features a prominent 13 meter wide dome. It serves as the primary place of worship for Singapore's Sikh community and provides free daily vegetarian meals (langar) on the 1st floor of the Gurdwara, to all visitors whatever be their caste, creed or culture. Just do remember, that one has to take of one's shoes and keep their head covered before entering the Gurdwara itself. Provisions and a place is given upon entry for shoes / footwear keeping. Our visit in 2023 gave us enough opportunity to see this place ourselves from the outside only. Thus my pictures are restricted with just clicks from the exterior only.

Peaceful, we visited during odd hours of the day but the Sewadar bhai sahib ji ensured we don’t go hungry and served us the Langar (free meal). He also packed one for us. Thank you.
