Visited Tea Story for lunch. There is plenty of parking nearby, including a multi-storey carpark serving the surrounding HDB blocks. The eatery itself is quite small with limited seating, so I’d recommend coming early if you’re planning to dine in. We started with the king oyster mushroom, which was nicely cooked and tender, with a good spicy kick from the chilli powder. For mains, my wife had the sour pickled cabbage rice noodles. There was no meat, but it came with quail eggs and she enjoyed the tangy, appetising flavours. The spice did build up towards the end though, and eventually became a little too spicy for her. I had the black pepper chicken with sesame rice noodles. The noodles were fragrant and enjoyable, although the chicken itself could have had a stronger black pepper flavour. Thankfully, the sweet, sour and spicy chilli sauce available on the side added a lot more flavour and complemented the noodles well. For drinks, we tried the rose milk tea and lemon tea. The rose milk tea was sweet with a subtle floral rose flavour, while the lemon tea was fairly standard. Overall, a very affordable little eatery with some enjoyable dishes. They also accept CDC vouchers, which makes it even more value for money.
View on GoogleThis was my third visit to Tea Story, and it continues to be a nice, dependable spot to drop by. Baked Milk Tea: Still my go-to order here. It is smooth, tasty, and hasn't disappointed across my visits. Variety: They have a good selection of both food and drinks, so there are plenty of options depending on what you are in the mood for. Ambience & Overall Vibe: The place is pleasant, clean, and nicely decorated, making it a comfortable place to sit for a bit and chat It is a solid little cafe, and I'll head back again to try a few of the other drinks on the menu.
View on GoogleCame here because we saw their interesting video on some social media and wanted to try their desserts. After we arrived, we found out that they also offer food and a wide selection of tea and bubble tea. They have friendly staff. But the lady boss is not friendly. We scan the QR code on the table to order the food and make payment using PayNow. But, if you forget to make a screenshot of the payment and queue number, then you will not know what is your queue number and to go collect the food when your number is flashed or called. We ordered several items to try. I was quite disappointed with the overall taste of the food. I only like their fried mushrooms. The other items were either average or below average in taste. Nothing special. We spent total $90+ for 6 pax.
View on GoogleDiscovered this spot by chance with colleague. Very pleasant and calm environment with great furnishings and music. Food was average food court price, but the quality is higher than that. I ordered Braised meat rice and double skinned macha, was totally impressed by both dishes. The meat was soft and nice, not oily, and the dessert was nice and tasty, not too sweet, milky but yet didnt feel heavy. Colleagu ordered tomatoes soup noodles and it was good. The Jasmine lemon tea was also nice and refreshing. Will definitely come back here.
View on GoogleSaw the past reviews , so we decided to give it a try. The place is small and crowded on a Saturday afternoon. We were told to place order first and the staffs helped us arrange the seats. Foods and drinks were served as and when it ready. Homemade teas were not too bad. Foods wise it really so-so. The vibes of the place were not bad just that it too small and crowded. Maybe can come to enjoy teas on normal weekday.
