Came down to try the Malay food stall called Malay Delights after seeing them in a list of newly halal certified shops. It's a hidden gem! There was a wide variety of dishes available in the morning. We got the lontong and soto ayam, but forgot to take pictures. We could tell that the lontong was cooked by a veteran makcik - flavourful broth with a deep orangey yellow hue and tender vegetables and tofu. The soto ayam was light, clean-tasting, and full of beansprouts. We didn't get the nasi lemak, but it seemed popular as well. There was a steady stream of customers in the 15 minutes that we were there. Worth a try if you're in the area. From other reviews, it seems like the space used to be occupied by a popular wanton mee stall which is no longer around. Take note that seating is limited to a few small tables (1-2 pax each) packed into a small space in front of the coffeeshop. The Malay stall is closed on Fridays.

Malay Delights; Bee Hoon dry, one fried egg and wing $5.. but nasi lemak set $4. Doesn’t make sense. Not buying ever again, let u earn once.

If you missed traveling, especially to Johor Bahru, you should come by here to have a meal. It has the Johor vibes and their food is amazing! I love their coffee and tea! The owner takes effort to whisk your drink in the right consistency and taste! One of the must have is their wanton mee. If you like dark sauce wanton mee (inspired by JB), you should come down here to try! The sauce have this sweet and savoury feels and their noodles are springy! They serve generous portion of wanton too! Overall it’s a pleasant and enjoyable visit!

Wanton mee was very nice. Even packet for long hr the mee still have its texture and doesn't turn into 1 lump. Tried it dine in was excellent too! The ice kopi was also good and cheap.
