Circuit Road Market & Food Centre is a great old school hawker centre with a very local and authentic atmosphere. The place has a good mix of food stalls, and the pricing still feels reasonable compared with many other places. I enjoyed the variety here, from noodle dishes to local favourites like carrot cake and other hawker food options. The food centre has that classic neighbourhood charm, where you can see many regulars having their meals and the stalls serving familiar comfort food. The food is tasty, affordable and satisfying, making it a good place for breakfast, lunch or a casual meal. Service is generally straightforward and efficient, as expected from a busy hawker centre. Overall, a solid place for affordable local food with a genuine Singapore hawker feel.
View on GoogleNice, clean & airy place. Ground floor has provision shops & wet market. Upstairs food centre serves a good mix of familiar hawker dishes. 2 passenger lifts makes it easy to get around.
View on GoogleWas there for lunch with a customer and many of the stalls were not open. Tried the fried prawn noodle. Its ok just that the prawn and ingredients were only added onto the noodles after the noodles are cooked. So the ingredients are actually cold. Would be better if they cook the ingredients together with the noodles
View on GoogleThis neighborhood has good mix of old & new HDB estate and MRT entrance is nearby 10 min walking distance. The Mee Siam ($4)from Hup Hup stall is good as recommended & the soup not sour like muslin type but alittle sweetness toward Nonya. The mee hoon is well cooked with evenly mee siam powder color & the tao por is cut edible piece size, unlike other stalls cut small pieces. In the same roll stalls at corner has fried carrot cake stall 333. They sell white, black or mix ($4.5) carrots cake and may take awhile to cook. The white carrot cake taste like old school style and has little egg in it, but the black carrot cake taste better.
View on GoogleI honestly love this hawker centre so much, and it hits my old soul in the most nostalgic punch. Though there aren't many food options in the 2nd level, this place is bustling with elderly and 1st and 2nd gen hawkers. You really don't get to see this very often anymore. Most of the patrons here are the elderly and prices are pretty much catered to them as well with smaller portions and price point. Facilities wise, there are: ✅️ Great ventilation with multiple ceiling fans and big head room space ✅️ Clean toilets with soap ✅️ Wet market at level 1
