I came here to explore and ordered a Loh Mee for lunch. Medium size costs $5. Portion is sufficient. Quality is average but I ate all in the bowl. I saw others eating claypot rice that looked delicious. Also had a plate of Char Kway Teow but found the hawker rather rude. The CKT was just not hot at all and tasted average. For dessert , I had a durian chendol. Again it was average. 02July2026

My wife and I found this incredible hawker centre by chance. Located across the road from blocks of HDB apartments built in the early years of the HDB. It is superlong. Divided into many sections. Each section with up to 12 stalls. The variety of food is quite overwhelming. And each with its own shelves for customers to return their used trays, bowls, plates etc. There are ample number of tables both under shelters in between the stalls and outside for those who like alfresco dining. Ample carparks around too. There are toilets and wash basins. But users needs to pay 10 cents to use the toilets. Basins are outside the toilets. So anyone can use them freely. The entire hawker centre is very clean. Clean floor. Clean tables. I am totally amazed. The MP for this area must be really on the ball.

Circuit Road Hawker Centre is one of the best local food centres for vegans and vegetarians, with a good variety of stalls offering vegetarian dishes with vegan options. It’s a place where everyone can enjoy affordable and delicious meals ~ whether you’re looking for meatless choices, Halal food, or other local favourites. A welcoming spot that truly caters to all.

One of the older hawker centres, that serves reasonably priced food as this is an estate for senior citizens who probably are staying alone or are no longer working. I found it interesting to be able to discover a TUTU kueh stall selling just that and muah chee, which u don't see often since rent these days are high and such food are only found at night markets. There is even a char kway teow stall that serves the dish with a sunny side up egg on top. You can't miss the stall's name : 'dancing char kway teow'. If u enjoy having your meals outside, there are options as seats can also be found outdoors for u to people-watch as well. It is a nice place to reminisce and watch the world go by
