Cannot believe that authentic Thai Mookata for ONLY S$2x for adult and ONLY S$1x for child 🤩 NO GST NO service charge 😱 And yes, it’s true. We liked the crab and prawn and pork belly there 😍

I dont understand why the review is so low. i was so scared to go due to the review, but i had nothing else to eat so, i came to visit for a dinner night with my friends I wasnt used to the way they served mookata, it scared me. i had to pick my own items from the fridge, and i was a little lost. however, staff was super friendly and kind, making us have such a easy and smooth time. i was skeptical at first, they had alot of seafood choices; especially oysters i took a singular piece of oyster to try, afraid of it not being nice. placed it on the grill, ate it, and went back for SO MUCH MORE oysters 😅😅😅 i loved the variety of food and drinks server, the air conditioned room, the super friendly staffs that will engage with you with a smile. they are super easy to talk to, even social anxiety couldnt stop me from speaking with them!! and i am NOT exaggerating with my review. not being paid, not being told, nothing. i am just THAT happy with the fun dinner i had with my friends. KEEP IT UP!! ill be back, stock up on your oysters 😂 oh.. ice lemon tea was too sweet 🥹 but loved the green thai milk tea

This lovely restaurant 2 minutes from Jalan Besar metro station is so welcoming, the staff are so friendly and helpful. We had a refreshing beer that was ice cold, perfect in the heat.

I have been a supporter of this Mookata before they shifted to this new unit. The last unit was nearer to the Caltex Petrol Station. Now it has shifted further away from the Caltex station with renovation. The boss shared that for the previous unit, the landlord changed hands and rental went up exorbitantly by 150%. Therefore they have to shift. Renovation was much nicer as compared to the previous unrenovated unit. The only shortfall was the aircon wasn’t as cooling as I wish it to be. There are buffet stations for patrons to self serve if they opted for the normal Mookata Buffet. If you opt for the Premium Buffet, you will need to scan a QR code to select the premium dishes and they will serve it to your table. However, for other dishes besides the premium dishes, you also have to self serve at the buffet stations. The premium dishes consists of some good quality beef, salmon, tiger prawns, crayfish, huge succulent oysters, lala, mussels, clams, fish etc. The boss is very friendly and spends time chit chatting with patrons, asking them for feedback to improve their quality and review. I told the boss I was a regular customer prior to them shifting and renovating. They have an option of $5 drink where it is refillable and you have 5 options of drink choices-lemongrass, water chestnut, Thai milk tea, Thai green milk tea and I forgot the last. Haha 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Aroy Mak has very good pricing for their Thai Mookata buffet and platter sets. Good quality meat and seafood. Their chili comes with different spice levels. Every table has its own exhaust. So no BBQ smell. Cosy and spacious environment. Friendly and helpful staff. Definitely a great place for family and gatherings with friends.
