This review is more about the service and ambience at the outlet. Food wise, it’s pretty consistent across the different outlets. But the service differs — and not in a good way. For this outlet, the lady staff who’s in charge of seating customers appears unhappy all the time. I am aware it’s not an easy job, but a bit of friendliness wouldn’t kill. For takeaways, the outlets at 313 and CCP pack the broth together with the ingredients — in a big box, which means there’s quite a lot of broth and let’s be real, we take MLT for the broth. However, the one here packs it separately. I understand some customers prefer this to prevent the ingredients from turning soggy, but the broth is packed in a smaller box. For someone who takes MLT for the broth, that’s rather disappointing. Asked for more soup to be put in the regular box, was told it has a hole and would spill. That’s fine, but again, they appear unhappy. My tone wasn’t demanding, i was asking. The food is the saving grace for this outlet. Would return but would have to ignore the less than satisfactory service.

The functional modern décor contrasts with its street‑food roots, while the ingredient counters exude a bustling market‑style energy with people queuing. The space feels approachable, designed for quick meals yet comfortable enough to linger. Expect a short 10 minutes queue for seats. . Service is friendly, efficient, and hardworking. Drinkable and hearty, wholesome and healthy, each bowl feels personal. Portions are sized as you wish. Prices are reasonable, budget about SGD $17 per person.
View on GoogleYang Guo Fu Mala Tang at SingPost Centre is noted for its extensive ingredient selection and signature rich broths, but potential diners should be aware that the seating can feel cramped and the outlet becomes significantly crowded during peak office lunch hours and dinner time. The main reason many fans flock to Yang Guo Fu is for their unique, comforting broths. Price: It is generally considered slightly pricier than hawker-style mala, but many find the quality, air-conditioned environment, and distinctive broth well worth the average cost (typically around $15 - $30 per person, depending on how many ingredients you choose). Condiment Bar: A key feature is the complimentary sauce bar, allowing you to fine-tune your bowl with sesame sauce, chilli oil, and vinegar to your taste. Speed: Service time is generally decent, making it a good spot for a quick and satisfying meal.
View on GoogleYang Guo Fu at SingPost is my go-to spot whenever I’m craving mala tang. I’ve tried quite a few mala places, but I keep coming back here because the quality and flavour are consistently good. My usual order is the mala beef broth, and it’s always rich, fragrant, and satisfying without being overwhelmingly oily. One tip: get the sesame sauce on the side and mix it into the soup. It adds a creamy, nutty depth that balances out the spice perfectly and takes the whole bowl to another level. The ingredients are fresh, there’s a good variety to choose from, and everything is cooked well. Whether I’m loading up on vegetables, mushrooms, tofu, seafood, or meat, the flavours always come together nicely. The outlet itself is clean, comfortable, and convenient for a quick meal at SingPost Mall. Service is efficient, and even during busier periods, the wait is usually reasonable. If you’re a mala tang fan, this is definitely one of those reliable places that consistently hits the spot. The mala beef broth with sesame sauce is a combination I’d highly recommend. 🌶️🍜🥢
View on GoogleMy first time here, not impressed, foods are normal. Surprisingly the steam rice with 小麦米?is extremely expensive, cashier should informed customer on the price breakdown instead of total price.
