Firstly take the 5star reviews here with a pinch of salt, most are fake. The based sauce taste very very odd. It's sour and does not well with rice at all. It's also semi dry and barely any sauce. Feels like they just anyhow put some chilli paste and just on top of the fish after steaming. Glass noodle are extremely short and brittle, each strand is like 2 inches long. The fish is decently steamed. 8.80 after 10% discount with fairprice app.

There are empty seats at the other entrance. I chose this stall as there was no queue when I was at PLQ mall Kopitiam, and also the fact that this is my first order from What The Fish. I was pleasantly surprised that it tastes better than the other stall which also sells similar items. The sauce, salted veggies (tasted just right.. not too salty 😌), coriander and fried garlic enhanced the taste of the steamed sea bass. 😋 The sauce goes well with the rice. 🍚 😋 This is only my personal view.. I believe that other Kopitiam outlets in Singapore also sell this. You have to Google to view where they are located if you're game to try Kopitiam's food.

Nice tasting steamed sea bass with soy bean sauce. Fish meat was fresh and tender. Just need to be careful with the tiny bones while eating. Kopitiam PLQ Mall can be very crowded during peak hours.

Service is clear. No sea bass when I got it. The standard fish is big enough (tho it is one side). Need to top up $2 for tail which is confusing for me.. presentation is nice. I think the entry should include the tail.. the default soup base is some lemon with onion and fresh green chilli which is really refreshing . Subjectively giving 4 stars cuz I don’t like to deal with fish bones
