I ordered delivery, and it was exactly what I needed: great flavors, generous portions, and excellent quality. What I ordered: • (5/5) Beef Boat Noodles • (5/5) Green Milk Thai Tea • (2/5) Wings I loved the beef boat noodles. Even with delivery, they arrived hot and packed with a generous amount of noodles and meat (including 3 mini meatballs!). I’m used to receiving limited protein and minimal ingredients from many Singapore establishments, so this was a sad but pleasant surprise lol. The Green Milk Thai Tea was also fantastic. I ordered it at 50% sweetness, and it was perfectly balanced and refreshing. The only item I didn’t enjoy was the wings. They were much sweeter than expected, and I personally prefer savory wings, so I wouldn’t reorder them. The beef boat noodles were exactly what I was craving rich, savory, and flavorful without being overly salty. I’ll definitely be reordering and could easily become a regular customer if the quality remains this consistent.
View on GoogleOutdoor seating at PLQ for this Thai cuisine. We like the slight tangy sauce over teriyaki chicken. The beef is a bit tough for the beef pho. Finger food sides Glazed Chicken wings is tasty. Love the refreshing teas we ordered and on a hot day the Thai tea ice cream dessert on toast is prefect. Great for a quick meal.
View on Googlejust had my little thai street food moment here. affordable, flavorful, and honestly?? kinda obsessed🔥 i went for the TUK TUK SET – $10.9 📍only at @payalebarquarter main + drink = a whole vibe got 2 sets because why not? green curry paired with a refreshing Thai milk tea — creamy, spicy, and so comforting tom yum chicken karaage rice bowl with thai green oat milk tea — that perfect tangy kick + smooth, oat goodness plus i had to add a side of gai yang with e-sarn sauce because protein is life, and it’s fire andddd to top it off? triple kaya dip golden toast for that sweet, buttery finish. i swear every bite was like a mini vacay to Thailand! honestly? 10/10 would definitely go again — my new go-to post-workout refuel
View on GoogleWhat We Tried here today was: 🍜 Beef Boat Noodles ($9.90) Rice noodles in a rich, beefy broth with generous portions of stewed brisket, sliced beef, and beef balls. Comforting and flavourful. 🍚 Teriyaki Chicken Karaage Ricebowl ($8.50) Juicy chicken with a bright, tangy teriyaki glaze, served with cherry tomatoes, carrots, and a soft-boiled egg. I just love that it is not overly salty as most teriyaki sauces are. 🍗 Glazed Chicken Wings (2 pcs for $5.00) Perfectly glazed and satisfying as a side snack. So good and I wanted to order more! Comes with a nice Thai chilli sauce. 🍨 Thai Milk Tea Shibuya Toast $8.90 Perfect level of sweetness on lightly salted Crispy toast - you can order this first then when you are down with the meal tell them to prepare for you and it just takes 5 minutes more. 🥤 Butterfly Pea Drink ($4) – Light, tangy, and refreshing. 🥤 Thai Milk Green Tea ($4) – A mellow, herbal twist on the classic fave. Great tasty food, fast and very friendly service! Will 💯 come back again!
View on GoogleSpotted Tuk Tuk Cha at PLQ – and it felt like a reunion. Ever since they moved out of Novena, I’ve been missing their familiar Thai comfort fare. So it was a pleasant surprise to find them again at PLQ, now with a new twist: they’ve introduced a range of Thai street food items to complement their classic favourites. ✨ Tuk Tuk Set: One main + one drink for just $10.90. What We Tried - Thai Green Curry with Rice + Drink ($10.90) - Thai Beef Boat Noodles + Drink ($10.90) - Gai Yang (Grilled Chicken) with E-Sarn Sauce ($8.90) - Tom Yum Seafood Soup ($9.90) - Aloha Coconut Shibuya Toast ($8.90) 📍 Heads-up: This outlet operates from an outdoor food stand — casual, convenient, and great for a quick bite. 🍹 Drinks & Desserts Still a solid draw. Their Thai Milk Tea even comes with a 5% sugar option, which is a rare and welcome touch for those watching their sweetness levels. 🍛 Portion & Taste Portions are generous. The green curry gravy was aromatic and well-balanced, and the Gai Yang with E-Sarn sauce made for a satisfying side — tangy, smoky, and just the right hint of heat. 💁♀️ Service Friendly and warm — a nice touch that enhances the street food vibe.
