I love Teochew for the variety of food on offer, the quality of the dishes, and its very fair prices. We got baby squid in sweet and sour source, century eggs, seafood tofu, clams, braised eggplant, 2 bowls of rice and 2 cokes for 31 dollars. Some restaurants offer single dishes much more expensive than the feast we had in Teochew!

Their soup base was quite good. Its like a mix and match order what ingredients you want kind of steamboat. Their homemade items were pretty good. The fish balls and meat paste were good as well. Not exactly cheap also as well. It costs us 350 for table of 6 adults and 2 kids.

Teochew Traditional Seafood Steamboat was the perfect place for a company lunch with my colleagues. The restaurant is well-suited for large groups, with generous food portions and excellent service. The staff was incredibly friendly and even helped us cook some of the ingredients, which made the experience even better. The soup is refillable, which was a great touch, and the broth was rich and flavorful. One of the standout dishes was the pork knuckle, which was insanely delicious and an absolute must-order. Every dish we tried was fresh and well-prepared, making for a truly satisfying meal. The restaurant is located deep in Joo Chiat, so it’s good to account for travel time. There is a carpark nearby for those driving, and bus 33 provides easy access for those taking public transport. The place tends to be more crowded at night, so reservations might be necessary for dinner, but lunchtime was not an issue. For anyone looking to enjoy authentic Teochew-style steamboat and local Chinese delights, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

Had lunch with friends here, steam boat on super sunny day🤣 A surprise that only 3 tables during lunch time on Sunday I love the fish porridge soup, drunken shrimps are good.

The steamboat soup base crispy 猪脚 and Yam Paste dessert at this place is very delicious 😋. Ingredients are really fresh and reasonable!
